It has been many quarters since Mark and Helly rebelled against Lumon in Cold Harbor. While the two of them may be gone, their love for one another has gone down into fantastic legend on the severed lore, inspiring innies everywhere to rise up.

I really loved writing this for Mark Helly week!! If you are a greek myth nerd, you'll love this one! I also took a lot of inspiration from Cherokee folklore with this one.

Some things never change. Helly wakes up on Lumon’s severed floor with no memories, and from the second she opens her eyes, she’s determined to escape. Mark is still (reluctantly) tasked with training her.

Except this time, she is not taken to Macrodata Refinement. She is taken to Choreography and Merriment’s sub-department Verve.
