"How did you hear about Link Click and what was your experience?

I've had an interesting path to finding this show, since I actually heard about it back in 2021, when Identity V had a collab with it. I've gotten to recognize Link Click because of a crossover (with another Chinese media, Idv) - a video game I play, by getting the free rewards & taking photos in-game. It had a mini quest and all, it was fun to do and creative, it had some dialogue, etc. It was fun! 🥰

That's where it gets wonky. I played through the collab, didn't buy the skins, but I looked up the donghua out of curiosity. After watching the first episode, "Emma", my brain decided - Nah. This show is fun, but too slice-of-life for me! My teenager brain was bored! First episode didn't grab my attention back in 2021.

Fast forward to 2024. I forgot all about it - except, maybe, the character designs 🤌✨

In 2024, Bridon arc was coming. A second crossover with Link Click x Identity V was announced. I had Danny Motta Season 1 reaction-compilation on my youtube recommendations, and I recognized the dudes on the cover, and it was like a flashback. At some point I thought, I might as well give this series another go, see if it's fun this time. Not many people will get this... I don't quite get it myself - but between 2021 and 2024, I have changed. I cautiously say that my mind became more adult, more mature, to actually enjoy a show like this way more.

I related more to the characters, I understood their adult struggles better. I appreciated the subtle things, the mysteries I got to solve by myself, the realism behind it all - and it snowballed from there. I liked that there were questions unanswered. I liked the hidden things! I saw potential for a mature show that had something meaningful to say - so unlike the other recent media.

By now, I've re-watched the show many times, all seasons. I love the soundtrack, i love the art. I've appreciated it, thought about it, found solace in it. I made theories, I saw connections - I talked to the other fans. I also realized it's a really tiny fandom - and I 💙LOVE💙 the fact that it's tiny. It felt nice, small, and secure. Special, and comforting :)

All in all, my experience was awesome! I've never felt so artistically inspired and invested in anything before. I don't get obsessed with things, frankly I tend to jump around a lot (😂) but Link Click is the closest I've gotten.

⏤͟͟͞͞I thought it was a blue anime, it looked very interesting, it wasn't your typical romance, and when I saw it for the first time I couldn't stop watching it, I didn't find a romance but I found a very good bromance desk, a story made with love and a band that would sound incredible.
