Abouts Us!

Who are we?

We are a teen duo from a small town in Germany. A boy that can make magical use of words and his pens, and a girl whose swish with a spraying can creates colorful pictures, both in the age of 17.

What are your names?

While we do not reveal our real names, we do use our artist names Hope and Bags. 

How did you come up with this blog?

One night Hope was scrolling through his personal blog and just thought about how rad it would be to share a blog with his artist friend, as both didn’t really have a place where they could share their art. Despite the fact that we both possess personal blogs on various media platforms. He texted her and quickly this blog came to be.

What kind of art do you do?

We are both skilled in traditional art, making use of pencils, pens, ink and various color sources. (water colors, acrylic etc.) We are both interested in starting digital art as well. Also, we also have a passion for photgraphy and will publish it here. The difference between us is that while Hope is also an author and publishes stories on writing platforms, Bags is a sprayer and has left various pieces in different towns and cities, and also gifted some to others. 

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

Hope is very immersed in the world of anime, manga, video games and Japanese and Korean fashion. Most of the time it doesn’t need much for him to get an idea from a simple thing. His most recent idea came from looking at an ordinary rock, for example.

Bags draws her inspiratin from other artists and tweaks and turns them into her own style and ideas.

What are your future dreams?

Hope dreams of studying game design and becoming a character designer at Square Enix.

Bags is debating whether to study law or art and theatre as a teaching-study.

You can ask us questions primarily in German and English. Both of us are also able to speak mediocre French. Hope is currently studying Spanish and Korean.
