Okay but like give me your Minutemen Navy headcannons please? I've never heard of it but it sounds genius, although idk how they would go about that so plz explain if you wanna

I didn’t think to hard about, like, story/canon logistics but I wanted dope boats so I got a mod and made dope boats! I made a post about it here! 

And then I named my boats after my tumblr friends because I’m like that and you can see them here! 

Since you brought it up and now I’m thinking about canon logistics (not to be confused with cannon logistics, of which I am also a fan) - I sort of thought it through and made the Navy base at Spectacle Island because it’s good for that - lots of water, lots of space to put docks and boats and stuff. Also, The Castle being on the water you could put some boats there. There’s just, loads of (mostly defunct) boats hanging around The Commonwealth just waiting to be fixed up. I headcanon my Sole mostly uses the “Navy” for moving stuff and people, less for fighting. The Commonwealth is crisscrossed by waterways, it would be way easier to move stuff via ship than overland where there’s a lot of obstacles and danger. 

I really wish there were functional boats in game - aside from the fast travel to Far Harbor, which is a functional boat, technically, but you don’t get to actually putter around with it. It would make sense in a place like Boston with so much water that people post apocalypse would use that as a means of travel. Could you imagine walking along the Charles and up pops a band of pirate raiders?! That would be cool as hell. If you could actually build a Minuteman Navy and have sea battles with pirate raiders!? I’d buy that game 😏

Anyway, yes, in my Sole’s canon he has a Minuteman Navy and I built it in game and the playthrough I’m on now I need to build a new one so maybe I’ll come up with some more headcanons as I go along with that 😊

After I’ve watched Casanova randomly on tv one day I got inspired to do this drawing. The way Heath Ledger played Casanova made me think of BIG Hancock energy. So I found a photograph on set with Ledger as Casanova and turned him into Hancock. I liked the shirt and the casual pose, I also gave him rings like in his concept art.

It's Ghoul Appreciation Day! Today we will lavish our affections upon this gem of Appalachia. Look at that adorable face! He is worthy of all the loves. I dubbed him Greg. Greg likes long, long, looooooong walks (part of his job, really), an occasional shot of whiskey, and is a giant Himbo. He dislikes racists, the smell of wet dog, and people who try to cheat him on business transactions.

It was a relaxing day in at the skeleton brother’s house.

You finally had managed to snag a day off from your job, which was an absolute pain, and Stretch finally managed to sync up a day off for himself as well. The pair of you made plans to hang out together, veg on the couch for a bit, and start snoozing the day away sometime mid afternoon. The ideal date for hectic lifestyles.

No obligations, no phone calls from work, nothing but some snacks, movies, and your honey-obsessed skeleton boyfriend to keep you company until his brother got home. Yep, it’d be a perfect day in your book.

The moment you sprung out of bed in the morning, you dug for your comfiest clothes to wear. A pair of sweatpants, a mildly loose t-shirt, and your favorite pair of socks would be all you needed. As you put the items on, you heard your phone buzz on the table next to your bed. On the notification screen was a text from your skeletal boyfriend.

“see u soon, honey.”

That sent a pleasant little flutter through your heart and made you smile like no one else could. Stretch was always such a sweetheart, pun fully intended, and you would never change him or who he was for the world. You sent a text in reply, grinning from ear to ear.

“That you will. Need me to bring anything else over?”

The snacks had already been agreed upon, but it never hurt to double check with your skeleton. Sometimes there would be things that he forgot to put on the list, and the last minute reminders would be a great help to him. Other times everything would be ready to go, and all it took was you getting there. Stretch responded with an all good, so you were all set and ready to go within minutes of your brief conversation.

You got to the house and did the standard knock on the door, alerting Stretch that you had made it there. After a moment of shuffling inside, you could hear him moving closer to where you stood. However, you had to prepare a joke for yourself, as it was a standard.

“who’s there?”

You grinned a little at the banter.

“Honeydew.”

“honeydew who?”

“Honey, do you think you can let me in?”

The door swung open and your skeleton boyfriend was grinning down at you, gesturing for you to come in with no hesitation. You practically skipped in, ready to start your relaxing day of cuddles and movie time with your favorite skeleton. He followed behind, allowing you to get all the stuff you wanted for the stay-in day. 

Once everything was settled, you curled up on the couch with him, turning on the movie. Stretch draped his arm around your shoulders, allowing you to lean on him and still view the screen. As soon as that movie ended, the two of you decided on the next, starting it up almost immediately after you started.

Three movies in, and you were almost laying on top of Stretch, hands tucked under his sweatshirt to keep warm. His hands were gently rubbing your back up and down, tracing circles, drawing lines, and just resting them on you. You, in turn, started to let your hands trace up onto his ribcage. What stopped you was a very uncharacteristic squeak of surprise from your skeletal boyfriend.

When you looked up, Stretch was pointedly not looking at you, his face dusted with a heavy coating of orange. A small grin started to grow on your face as you watched him fervently avoid eye contact. You went to move your hands away, but decided not to, instead resting them directly onto the bones so that you could make a point about it.

“Are you ticklish, Stretch?” you teased lightly. He made no response at all, but if the brightening of the blush on his cheekbones was anything to go by, you were right. He glanced at you, and you could feel your grin become impish.

“please don’t-” was all he managed to choke out before you started to tickle him like crazy. Your touches were feather light in nature, with just enough pressure to tickle. The reward you got was another surprised squeal your boyfriend as he tried to squirm away from your hands. 

You found yourself laughing in turn as he tried to turn the tables on you, starting to tickle you back and making sure that you weren’t getting hurt by his thrashing. The both of you tussled on the couch for who would win the tickle fight, the movie entirely forgotten at this point. Both of you instead were focused on who would come out as the winner.

You aimed for anything you could reach, the neck, underarms, and the ribs. Even though there was no flesh under your fingers to tickle, Stretch was still writhing and squirming under you, pleading for you to stop. Just as you were tickling him, though, he was tickling you in the same way, digging his boney fingers into any place he could reach. You were the underdog, almost, having more spots for him to exploit. The two of you fought valiantly for the lead over each other, at some point making a transition from the couch to the carpet underneath.

A few minutes later, you rolled off of him onto the floor, laughing too hard to continue to try and fight against him. Stretch was similarly laughing next to you, collapsed in a heap on the floor beside you. After another minute of having a laughing fit together, you sat up and looked at him.

“Stars, I love you,” you hummed softly, a gentle smile on your face. Stretch sat up and pressed a gentle kiss to your lips, one hand cupping your cheek as he did so. 

“and i love you too, honey. you wanna finish the rest of the movie now?”

“Yeah, but I don’t wanna get up from the floor.”

“that’s a whole mood, let’s just stay here and take the movie in from the floor.”
