hello people, i am officially back with a sparkle in my eye and promises to be consistent :D

i just finished my my first year final exams (woohoo) and i feel so happy that i'm already 1/3 done with college. 😭😭 anyway, here is what you must know:

(i) i passed ca foundation in my first attempt (jan 25)

(ii) i did not give the september attempt last year because i gave up on studying in june itself so i was really NOT prepared to give the exams in september. i did a lot of soul searching whether i genuinely wanted to pursue ca beacuse wdym i gave up after a week of studying, but i think i was just not feeling it then, with starting college and adjusting, and just locking in on a path in life. (pathetic, i am aware😭😭)

(iii) so after the september attempt passed me by, and lots of lectures from my very angry parents, i decided that i will give january attempt a try, and if i pass, i'll feel motivated to continue, and if i don't, i'll reaccess.

(iv) after barely studying much, and having my sem one exams side-by-side the foundation exams, (and having a veryyyyyyy stressful month) i just really locked in in the last 15 days and gave it my all.

(v) when the results came in march, i genuinely had no hopes of passing and when i saw that i passed i was so shocked?? like how?? this was insane?? but apparently my hardwork bore it's fruit after a few ups and downs. that's the story.

(vi) now, i know i should have started studying in march itself for my intermediate january 2026 attempt, but- i had sooooo many college exams, assignments and classes that idk how time went by and now it's june?? 😭😭 please i don't know what is happening to me, i swear i was not like this before. but, the past year has changed me alot and now I AM SO READY TO GET STARTED. better late than never hahahahahahahahahahahahahah (please support this affirmation amen)

starting today/tomorrow, i'll begin with a 75 day hard challenge (i need to lock in academically and in every other aspect of my life too, it's all a wreck heheh) or a 100 days of productivity challenge to feel an ounce of motivation and hope. i will catch up with the lost time this summer. so, wish me luck, and see you in the next one!

i'm back! (sort of)

hello everyone, i cannot begin to tell you where i have been. i lost all hopes at first regarding ca foundation, i felt so burnt out and everything felt like an obligation, including this blog so i decided to take a tiny little break and oops! i gradually just forgot about this 😭😭😭😭 i apologize. idk how i came across this today and i was like OH!! NO!! I WAS SUPPOSED TO DOCUMENT MY JOURNEY!!

so- i'll resume with it (let's just ignore the fact that it's been almost an entire year ahm ahm)

i have my semester finals going on at the moment, hence this procrastination. but... i promise i will catch you all up with whatever happened last year (spoiler alert: I PASSED FOUNDATION LESSGO!!) and now i'll document my intermediate journey :))

i'll update soon, probably starting in june since that will offically mark my one year absence and i'll finish my semester exams. see you all then xx

so as i predicted, i did nothing today 🙏🏼

i had a law lecture from 9 am to 11am and then i wrote my first draft for a while. i washed my hair and got ready to go to my friend's party. IT WAS SO FUN & i had a great time!! i really needed to get out of the house and meet my peers.

i came back at 8:30 at night & then i just spent my time watching tv & checking pictures 💀💀

anyway, now it's time for me to sleep because i'm exhausted from all the social activity today.

i promise i'll get back on track from tomorrow xx

june 08, 2024. | 04/100 days of productivity.

today was the least productive day i could have ever had. i did my first two classes from 8 am to 12 pm & then i had a three hour break during which i was supposed to go the the gym but i didn't because it was too hot and i was feeling very lazy lol

then after lunch my aunts and cousin showed up, so i spent the whole afternoon and evening hanging out with them and eating a whole lot of junk food hehe (so much fun)

they went away at 7 ish but then i took a nap and thought that i'd wake up in a hour to study but i woke up just to type this up & i'm going to sleep again because i love sleep and i love my bed and i need rest for my brain to function. 😭😭😭.

so basically, i did nothing at all and now i feel bad but i'm too tired to even try to make up for it so we will try again tomorrow xx

(probably not because tomorrow is SUNDAYYYY and i have to go to a friends party and i'll be too tired again 🚆🏃🏼‍♀️)

my legs have been so dead because of the gym I HATE IT SO MUCH but i will have to push through and will not stop (please send help)

i've been trying to eat healthy, sleep enough, find time for reading and working on my novel and maintain my jounal and i'm feeling so burnt out. i can hardly keep up with the ca classes and catching up on the backlog that i have zero time for any hobbies and if you know anything about me, is that I LOVE MY HOBBIES SO MUCH!!

yes, well that is making me upset but i just need to manage my time better and focus on one thing at a time (it's very hard).

never mind, today was okay-ish as i did all my classes, went to the gym (in pain) and even watched two old lectures of accounts and made notes for law!! YES FINALLY GETTING BACK ON TRACK.

hopefully i'll start stats from tomorrow because i've been hearing it's quite hard and i'm scared to begin 😭

also, i am watching bojack horseman currently and i've never felt so seen in my life. he is me, i am him. i also love diane <3

june 06, 2024. | 02/100 days of productivity.

i'm going to be completely honest and say that i had no motivation to do anything. i hardly wanted to get out of bed. i woke up at 7:30 and made myself a cold coffee because that's the only thing that helps me wake up. my classes started at 8 am & continued till 12:30 pm. the third class was at 2:30 so i decided to go the gym in the break. after i got back, i was so tired and did not want to study at all so i skipped the last class and watched suits instead 😭😭

then i took a nap for an hour, scrolled through instagram and hung out with my brother for a bit. then two of my friends called & we talked for like two hours lol while i drank another coffee ahm ahm

now it's sort of my bedtime and i promised myself that i'd complete brs today after dinner but my laptop is dead and the lights are off because there is a storm going on outside. so no charge, no lecture video 💀💀

now i'll sleep and i promise i'll do better tomorrow xx

june 05, 2024. | 01/100 days of productivity.

i have online classes from 8 am in the morning till 3 pm. so, i attended all of three 2 hour long lectures and made notes. i have 2 months-ish worth of backlog because i started the classes this week, while the batch started way back in april lol.

after a little lunch break, i revised for a hour and then went to the gym. i got back after two hours and then i spent the evening studying business law’s chapter and bank reconciliation statement in accounts. my head was hurting like crazy and it’s only day one so i’m stressed how i’ll get through this. i also watched like 3 episodes of suits lol.

at night i wanted to study for another hour but instead i spent making content for my writersgram and writing my novel while listening to music.

i’d say i was productive and had a good satisfactory day xx

hello, i’m deeya.

i have started this studyblr to document my academic journey to become a chartered accountant one day. i hope you support me, and we build a lovely community xx

i’m seventeen years old and i graduated from high school a few months ago. i have decided to pursue chartered accountancy along with bcom or bcom hons (still not sure).

college will start in fall, and currently i’ll spend my summer working to complete ca foundation.

fav shows: anne with an e, derry girls, suits, supernatural, vampire diaries, brooklyn 99, bojack horseman, stranger things, umbrella academy, gravity falls, and so many more.

fav movies: dead poets society (comfort movie), little women, any 2000s bollywood, any coming-of-age film and anything marvel and star wars!!

fav artists: hozier, lorde, lana del rey, taylor swift, ethel cain, mitski and the cranberries. (i’ll listen to anything, i swear)

fav books: the secret history, the picture of dorian gray, all rick riordan books, the hunger games, a good girl’s guide to murder, the bell jar, harry potter series, the shadowhunter chronicles.

fav writers/poets: dostoyvesky, sylvia plath!!(i love her), oscar wilde, jane austen, mary shelley, and franz kafka.

other fun facts:

i am a big reader, well used to be, but i now i don’t have enough time for it (shameful i know)

i am also an aspiring writer! i am currently working on two novels and i even have an writersgram (shush i’m not disclosing it yet)

i love stories about history, greek mythology, hindu mythology and everything about those.

i speak three languages but i want to learn atleast seven.

i had a huge dark academia phase, and i seriously love greek and latin so much.

i love fangirling over everything & have like 1089211 obsessions that i go crazy about.

i have so many random hobbies i can’t even mention them all (knitting, baking, art, gardening…)

i want to make a short film all by myself and i’m learning more about filmatography.

i am a literature, classics, history girl at my core but i don’t know why i have chosen to study finance, law, business and accounts instead??

my dream is to move out of my hometown (probably to london, it’s my fave city) and buy a little house and have 11 cats.
