I had the idea of a snow-mouflage Jazz! Idk if anyone ever seen my posts about stealth/spec ops Jazz where I made his colors mostly green and black? But this is the other mode I've been wanting to do. So liiiike... He gets to have three paint jobs! Base, stealth, and snow! 😊

starfire stimming! :D I like to imagine that for both of them, one of their stims is flicking their wings :D starscream often likes picking at materials (picky pads are one of his fav stim toys), and skyfire often fiddles with his digits or with a stylus or smth if he’s holding writing (or science- as long as they’re safe to handle that way) tools! :D
#this is very precious and I'm delighted to see them both so happy#Transformers#Skyfire#Starscream#SkyStar#not described#autism#stimming

I can’t believe people are still surprised by this. Anime was just starting to become popular in America and they changed OPs because they wanted something catchy to appeal to kids. Butterfly is the better song but I don’t think it would be popular with kids. Another reason is the rights for the song and trying to match the lyrics to the original Japanese song would be hard. Making an original song was probably easier. Sad but true.
#can't deny it#went through my hating the english dub phase as a teen#but it's still goddamn true#the music is just superior in the Japanese version#and I can sing bits of the German tracks as well cos they're bangers#Digimon#Digimon Adventure

I think a thing I find interesting about the new Superman '25 film is that while it frames Superman as being right to his ideals of not-killing, or not harming others that don't deserve it, it instead makes other characters enact said violence on Superman's behalf (even with it not being something he asks them to do). Most notably Hawk Girl killing the President of Bovaria, where all Supes did was pin him to a cactus with a strong telling off. But also Supes does not attack Lex in their final confrontation, but Krypto does.
It feels like the film both respects Superman's philosophy to not kill, but also thinks that violence is an acceptable response to evil and tyranny. Both attitudes are shown to be right. But I just find it interesting that while Superman never kills directly or enacts vengeance, the film still shows that a bit of murder and vengeance can be okay.
#Superman#I hope I'm wording this right#I'm mostly musing about the difference between how the characters act and how the film frames them#James Gunn#Superman 2025#Krypto the Superdog#film analysis

So while I don't like the alternative way that D shoots Optimus: the pause makes it a bit obvious it was going to happen. The final version where it's fast and sudden and comes as a shock to both the characters and the audience is better imo. HOWEVER! Orion's speech to Megs is a lot better. The problem with the final film is that it still feels a bit like Optimus is a bit centrist. Going "Oh D-16 don't you know it's bad to kill people, violence isn't the answer" even while Optimus is shooting Death Trackers and crushing them in half and B is murder-hoboing all over the place. But the fact that the original is:
"He deserves to die!" "Maybe he does, but not like this. His crimes need to be weigh publically, a decision made by the collective. Rational, transparent, inclusive to all. These are the ideals that we need to follow if you and I are going to lead."
The fact that here the reasoning is: "Sentinel probably deserves to die, but we need to have due process and prove that a new Cybertron can be just" is much better. The only problem is it feels like a speech that is written, and probably still would have needed polishing up (especially since the final version of the scene showed the two characters in an extremely emotional state and probably not able to give such grand musings with such clear level headedness) but I wish the core of what Orion was saying in this draft came across a little better in the final film.
have yall seen the original storyboards for THAT scene in TF:one cause i'm genuinely tweaking out.
whole thing here:

There's something I find kinda funny about the Mortal Kombat II trailer. Like, for the first film they said they didn't want to add Johnny Cage cos they didn't want this to be the story to have a white saviour where a white guy goes into an East Asian action film and ends up being the star. So they invented Cole Young, who basically fits the role that you'd expect Johnny Cage to have (aka guy who lives in America who doesn't know about Mortal Kombat goes into Mortal Kombat and fights to become the hero). The problem is people didn't like Cole. He is comparatively boring and focusing on him takes time away from the legacy characters people wanted to see.
So now in the second movie they are just giving in and having Johnny Cage as he goes from knowing nothing about Mortal Kombat to learning about Mortal Kombat and fighting to become the hero.
(obviously we just have trailers atm. I can't say how big Johnny's final role will be. They may be overhyping his presence cos it's a well known actor and he's a character people want to see)
Also all this amazes me cos the original 90s film dealt with this well enough by just making Liu Kang the hero. That's the easy way to do it.
(I don't have any major insight beyond this. I haven't seen either of the new films I'm just observing from the general conversation about the movies, but I do find it intriguing)
