Recycling can be a lot more intresting than stuffing bottles, cans and magazins into a proper recycling containers. Belgian industrial designer Jens Praet designed tables, benches, consoles and shelves, 'Fossilized', which are made of shredded magazines and documents. The pieces are made by mixing the shredded paper with the resin and then poured into a molding plate. Once the resin has dried up and hardened, the pieces are popped out of the molding plate and finished off by hand.

Art du Temps, a clock by Swedish designers Illi and Julien Ado. The clock has an explicit constuction, moving around the squares will form numbers what shows how late it is. Unfortunately this will cost you more than you think, about $95.000. But like I said, "Some designs, people can't afford, but it's free to watch and maybe to touch."

This is for whom who understands the meaning of art. Teshima Art Museum stands on a hill on the island of Teshima overlooking the Inland Sea (Japan). Artist Rei Naito and architect Ryue Nishizawa created a museum shaped like a drop of water. On the ceiling 4.5 meters above, two oval openings allow the air, sounds, and light of the world outside into this organic space which is designed to interact the architecture with the nature.

Designers Against Child Slavery is a Design Collective that enables creatives from all over the world to rise up against the sex trade. They want to see how effective artists can be when they start breaking the boundaries of culture, race, religion, and backgrounds to unite for a just cause, and use their unique styles and talents to give a voice to the voiceless.
