“Out of Order” My eyeballs could no longer bear with the violently bright light shooting out from my computer screens. I decided to print the lengthy reading assignment out. After all the tedious setting and clicks, I went to the printer. “Out of Order.” Come on! Why couldn’t the machine act properly when I need it. I was disappointed. Then I thought. “Out of Order - who said so exactly?” “Who is in power to put this sign up?” “How long has this sign be here for?” “What is ORDER anyway?” “IS ANYTHING EVER IN ORDER IN LIFE??” Then I went ahead to print my jobs. And it WORKED. This story proves: Art Therapy Program in SAIC is training my head to notice the assumptions, question the people in power, and challenge the system. Received four audio recordings sent form four kids whom found their ways to stay in touch with me since I left Hong Kong. One said, “Winnie, are you snowing now?” (In fact that will be so cool and make me Elsa from Frozen!) One said with a mouthful of food, “I miss you, when will you be back? (Sound of chewing) The other one said, “hey!
