Context: The smoothest dodgeball moves of all-time

Understand: Disadvantage when target is prone

For most ranged attacks (arrows, spears, dodgeballs, etc.) the attacker has disadvantage to hit if their target is prone, aka lying on the ground. As demonstrated in this gif, it's incredibly difficult to hit a prone target from far away. This disadvantage rule only applies outside 5ft-melee range; standing directly above someone to attack is easier than hitting someone across the room.

Understand: Disguise Kit

This non-magical kit is essentially community theater costume supplies. It can include any basic items to help you pass as someone else such as makeup, hair dye, and props (fake mustaches, hats, eye patches, etc.). This kit will not magically alter your appearance, but a skilled disguiser with a high roll can be quite convincing. You'll have an easier time if your disguise is similar to your regular look, like an older or gender-swapped version of yourself. Note that a Disguise Kit is not the same as the spell, Disguise Self.

Context: Heaven Official's Blessing (天官赐福, Tiān Guān Cì Fú)

Understand: Fireball

One of the most popular spells in DnD, Fireball allows you to shoot a 'bright streak' (a flare, a spark, some fire) aimed at any point within 150ft of you. Once the streak reaches that target, the magic explodes into a massive Fireball. Everyone within 20ft of the target point takes 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, and extra damage if cast at a higher levels. Be aware that this damage applies equally to friend and foe, so use wisely (or at least hilariously). This spell is the origin of the popular I didn't ask how big the room is joke, since the 40ft wide Fireball is big enough to entirely fill most rooms.

Context: Xena Warrior Princess

Understand: Improvised Weapons

No weapon? No problem. Grab anything nearby that you can "wield" (pick up and toss around) for 1d4 damage per attack. Throw it up to a normal range of 20ft. DMs may choose to use other stats and bonuses if the improvised weapon is similar to an existing weapon stat block, such as a club. Double check with your DM to confirm if you should use your proficiency bonus for improvised weapons.
