Teddy says nothing as tiny fingers grasp the front of his suit. It saddens him see her body shake with each sob, the tears leaving clean tracks down her dirt-covered face. He gives Billy a look before hugging Ina closer and standing up, adjusting her slightly so she won’t slip. “Let’s go home now, all of us.”
Ina looks up at Billy, and then to Teddy, and back again. She snuggles against them. “Home?” she whispers. “Can I go home with you?”
Billy rises with them, his arm curling around Teddy’s waist. “Of course you can, li’l bit. It’s your home too.” He wonders about the look but decides it’s better to wait until they’re alone.
“Hold on to me… this isn’t going to be easy.”
His hands glow with bright blue-white energy, as the runes spread out under his feet. Quietly he is muttering, “I want to take us home, I want to take us home…”
*fvwip-pop* *piff* They would reappear a few feet inside the apartment—and a few inches off the floor, the landing just a little jarring. Billy manages an embarrassed smile. “Uh… oops. Misjudged the height a smidge.”
Teddy tightens his grips slightly on both of them as the trio is pulled through time and space. He trusts Billy completely and lets him have full concentration on casting the spell correctly. When they reappear inside the apartment and the ground isn't immediately under his feet, he steadies them all as they hit the ground. He smiles at his partner. "You did fine." He nudges the still-curled-up girl in his arms. "Hey, Ina. We're home now."

Teddy smiles at her enthusiasm. "I like it there too."
He notices the pause and the momentary look of lost on her face. "Is something wrong?"
Ina and Teddy// (Teddy, Ina)
Teddy thinks for a moment. “How about some bacon and egg biscuits from Burger King?” He and Billy don’t usually eat out that much anymore, so getting a chance to get fast food kind of excites him. He waits patiently for her at the bottom of the stairs, too happy to get onto her for taking her time on the stairs.
He watches her stumble and gasps slightly, but relaxes when she shakes it off and continues down to meet him. “You all right?” he asks when she get to the final step.

Teddy smirks before tackling Billy full on, their lips crashing together sloppily. His hands reach around to grasp his hair, his fingers running wildly through the dark locks. Unfortunately he miscalculates just how much room is available on the couch and they tumble to the floor, Billy landing on top of Teddy with a loud thud.
“Oops,” the larger teen mumbles with a sheepish grin. “That was not part of my master plan.” He prayed that they hadn’t woke Ina up.
For his part, Billy just enjoys the ride, clinging to Teddy as they go tumbling in a heap into the floor. He has to fight hard not to laugh out loud, his face turning very red in the process and making rather hilarious sputtering noises.
He rests one elbow on the floor, now out of breath and flushed, their legs in a tangle. “Why don’cha leave the tactical planning to me, hm?” His chin rests in his hand, the other coming up to play with the earrings in Ted’s cartilage gently.
Teddy snickers to himself as he watches Billy fight back laughter. These moments were nice, even if they did end up acting like children instead of the almost-adults they were.
He smirks and wraps his arms around Billy's waist, pinning him to his chest. "Very well then, oh master planner. What did you have in mind?" His bright blue eyes meet chocolate brown ones, daring him to stay true to his word.

"Teddy," Ina climbs into his lap. "Billy said.. you and him are gonna buy me a little phone so I don't get lost." She completely fails to mention just *why* Billy mentioned said phone.
Teddy hugs her close and ruffles her hair. "Yeah, we've agreed that it'd be a good way to keep track of where you are. It's just as a precaution, munchkin, so you have a way of finding us if you're ever in trouble."

Ina feels safe. It’s funny, really; she’s not used to the sensation, but right now it’s so familiar and encompassing that it’s all she can register.
She doesn’t know these boys, but she recognises them. She knows this feeling of warmth and affection from the smaller one. The larger one, with his big hand against her back as she clings to Billy, isn’t any less comforting, even if he’s not as familiar.
She reaches out and touches Teddy with thin fingers, curling them into his costume, and holds onto both of them like her life depends on it. Her sobs quiet, but her little body is still shaking. She’s filthy, covered in dust from the abandoned factory, but she doesn’t seem to care, either.
Ina just knows that right now- at this very second- that there are two people who are holding her and that’s all she wants to know.
“Shhh… you’re okay, honey. That’s right, you’re okay.” He leaned back a bit, snagging a corner of his tattered cloak and using it to dry her face, smudging off the grime in the process. “You’re safe now. Nobody’s gonna hurt you. I swear.”
He also makes a promise to himself, one he hopes he’ll be able to keep; he’ll never let her know just how badly she scared him disappearing like that. He’ll never bring it up.
Billy smooths her now horrifically tangled hair back, holding her head against his cheek. “I’m sorry, li’l bit. You’re okay now,” he repeats, trying to calm her trembling. “We’re gonna go home, okay? Would that be okay?”
Teddy says nothing as tiny fingers grasp the front of his suit. It saddens him see her body shake with each sob, the tears leaving clean tracks down her dirt-covered face. He gives Billy a look before hugging Ina closer and standing up, adjusting her slightly so she won't slip. "Let's go home now, all of us."

He pats her on the head. "Just... wouldn't want you to get hurt, munchkin." He allows his hand to go limp as she swings it to and fro. It reminds him of when he used to do the same thing to his mom.
Teddy nods. "It is exactly on the way. We can get our food and go straight to the planetarium," he reminds her. He finds it cute how she calls it the science place. Technically it was a museum, but his favorite part was the planetarium.

“Don’t you know, my dear,” he says, “I have other methods of persuasion.” He crawls closer to Billy, slinking like a cat about to pounce, and leans in close to his face. This time he gently kisses his boyfriend’s smooth lips, playfully biting at his bottom lip. “Ready to surrender your secrets, sir?”

"He scared me at first," Ina pets the snake gently. "I thought he was a leaf!" She looks up at Teddy. "But I'll take him back out."
He ruffles her hair. "That's a good girl."

Hey Ted... what do you think of getting Ina one of those kiddie cell phones? She's apparently been wandering off while we're in class and I don't want her getting lost again.
Yeah, that sounds like a great idea actually. We can go take her to pick one out later, then.

"Up in the garden," Ina smiles happily. "He was so cute, all curled up with the tomatoes!"
Teddy allows the curious snake to slither onto his hand, winding around his fingers. "Hehe, he must think I'm a tree or something." He carefully puts the snake back in Ina's hands. "Why don't you go put him back where you found him, okay? He probably has a home around her somewhere, plus he'll eat bugs that try to mess with the garden."

Teddy laughs. “Oh sure, it’s all my fault then.”
He grins mischievously and leans in towards Billy, their lips crashing together rather roughly. He breaks away after a minute and whispers, “Do tell~”
Billy’s flushed and breathless when Teddy backs off, but he puts on a theatrical, challenging smirk. “Hey, that ain’t fair.” He sits back in the corner of the sofa, folding his arms over his chest. “I’m over here bein’ cute and you go and do something like that. Totally foils my plan to tease you mercilessly.”
Snarky as always. Billy smirks at Teddy, waiting to see what his next move will be.

"Teddy! I found a snake!" Ina holds out a little grass snake.
Teddy smiled before kneeling down to see the small creature in Ina's hands. It stuck its tongue out at him when he petted it gently with one finger. "That's really cool, Ina. Where did you find him?"
