I never though it would be this hard to be honest. The feeling you have that just resonates deep inside of you after breaking up with someone is almost indescribable. It’s such a sickening and gross kind of feeling and you can’t shake it away very easily. I mean, yeah sometimes you are doing something and it’s not the main thing on your mind and you forget about it for a while and the feeling had disappeared, and those moments are so relieving and amazing. But as soon as you remember it all, the person, the feeling, the words that were said, the memories that you made together, the feeling of their hand touching yours, when all of that comes back to you, your smile drops, your eyes almost turn darker, all the energy you had has been lost. And all you want to do is to lay down in a dark, quiet room and cry. Wallow in your own self pity. Because as soon as that horrible feeling hits you, you’re a different person. No one can make you laugh anymore, your favourite book can’t make you relaxed, your favourite movie can’t make you cry. That’s the thing, even if you try to cry by watching or reading sad materials. You can’t. Because it’s not them. It’s not about that person that you utterly miss with all your heart. And it’s not the same situation you are currently in. No one can completely relate to how you, as an individual, feels in these moments. And you can’t relate to anyone else. No one.

disabilities

so I've noticed that around school, people always try to avoid the disabled students, they believe they are weird or dumb or other horrible things but it makes me so sad, that they don't understand how wonderful most of them are. I have family members, close friends and just people I know at school that have a disability yet they're some of the sweetest and most genuine people I know. today, not even an hour ago, I was in the sick bay at my school, just sitting down, and this boy who is disabled from the year below me came in with his aid to take some of his medication. he took one look at me from the other room and came walking in, mumbling his little words and walked right up to me, leaning really close into my face and he had the biggest grin I had ever seen. I smiled back, with a huge smile and it seemed to make him happy. his aid and mother were just looking at us in adoration and in that moment, I just realised how wonderful it is to have these people in the world. he's such a happy kid and is a big role model and inspiration to me. before he left, his aid told him that he has to say goodbye to his 'new best friend' while smiling at me, and it warmed my heart. this little story may not be very interesting to you, but I wanted to share how much love and appreciation I feel towards people, no matter their disabilities, intelligence, looks, etc. just remember to please respect and love these people, they are human beings just like everyone else and deserve to be treated like one calla x

fellow londoners stay safe!!! there is an ongoing terrorist incident in westminster, which is in lockdown!!! thoughts with the police officer injured at houses of parliament and the members of the public involved in the car incident on westminster bridge. awful, awful news

UPDATE: police are working on the asumption that there was one attacker who drove the car into pedestrians at westminster bridge and then ran to the houses of parliament where he stabbed a police officer. he was shot, however the police officer sadly died from his injuries at the scene. two people were also killed at westminster bridge and dozens were injured, some severely. while there no longer appears to be an active threat, uk maintains the highest level of terror alert (as it has for months) and so please remain safe & vigilante if you are in the central london area tonight and in the coming days. please also spare a moment to think about the incredibly brave first respondents and emergency staff who put themselves at risk to protect the public. the police officer died protecting your elected representatives and the democratic institutions in this country. just let that sink in. massive shoutout also to NHS staff and those brave doctors and nurses from guy’s hospital who ran into danger at westminster bridge to help people. absolute heros the lot of them. so big up to everyone saving lives in london today. THANK YOU! 👏👏👏

all about me (I'm not conceited, I promise lmao)

so I'm new to Tumblr and I am still figuring out how everything works and it's quite confusing tbh but I thought, hey why don't I just have a little introduction to myself so I can connect with people who see this blog! so basically, I don't want to reveal my age BUT I am still a teenager in high school, and omg lemme tell you, my school is crazy as fuck so that will hopefully lead to some good stories to tell I'm in the lgbt+ community so if anyone wants a safe place to feel comfortable in, you've got this blog and you've got me, feel free to inbox me any questions or advice, regarding the lgbt+ community or really anything at all :) I am very passionate about my music and art, so I'll frequently be posting about my monthly favourite songs that I highly recommend. although my music taste will not be for everyone, I generally listen to soft and calming music, that hopefully most people would like and I'm sorry if anyone dislikes this, but sometimes I do swear but honestly, if you don't like it, just don't follow my blog, because swear words will be frequent and I'm not going to change that so that's barely anything about me oops, but I guess more of me will be clear as I start to develop my blog I hope you all have a safe day, lots of love xo
