like jfc? there is absolutely no DOUBT in my mind that gal gadot and her wonder woman have carried dc to the point it is today. no shade to henry, ben, or jason, who each did wonderfully in their roles for the first few movies before zsjl came out, but wonder woman was the movie that catapulted dc. it was fucking revolutionary. and then to have shitty ass joss whedon come up and tell her to “shut up and take it” or else he’ll end her career and ruin her movie? who the fuck does he think he is? 

in all seriousness, the way joss whedon treated justice league, the cast, and especially gal gadot and ray fisher is absolutely disgusting. I hope that he never gets another movie again. and if he does, I hope they bomb as dramatically as his nasty clusterfuck justice league did. he destroyed snyder’s vision, he acted in abusive, racist and sexist ways, and he was enabled by geoff jones.  i also really hope that WB will finally bite the bullet and own up to what they’ve done. there’s no excuse for the way whedon was allowed to behave on set. and, there is no excuse for how every single POC was cut out of the film. there’s no excuse for the racism that has occurred on, apparently, the sets of MULTIPLE dc projects, at the hands of geoff jones. and, then, to shield themselves behind “well geoff can’t be racist bcs he had a black wife”, or “wb can’t be racist bcs the ceo is asian”, is pandering and its gross. Not to mention, joss verbally threatening patty, gal and gal’s stunt double’s careers. There’s been no talk or weak-ass excuses from WB on that one. I hope their lawyers are scrambling to work up a PR stunt right now. Maybe we’ll get another trailer! Like they did with the squad trailer to cover up the amount of restore the snyderverse attention there was on twitter the heart and soul that zack and the cast put into the original JL cut was beautiful. it deserves respect. and the people who butchered it should own up to their actions.   also, i’d love to know why joss was so abruptly taken off of marvel projects after aou. perhaps there was more going on there than has been discussed. considering that there have been allegations of abuse from two of his past major project, that being JL and buffy.

haven’t been here in forever, but to whoever remembers my phenomenal amount of distaste for mcugly’s Bl/ck w/dow: yes, i find that trailer awful.

the way the M(U shoehorned Toenail into Sp*dey's story - effectively making it all about him as usual and in doing so, ruining what could have been a good movie is trash and we don't talk about it enough. totally erased A*nt M*y - unacceptable. seriously, their obsession with a character that no one gave a damn about before 2010 at the expense of literally every other character, including arguably their most iconic one is pitiful. that tunnel vision is to the detriment of their entire franchise.

Here is what makes P*ter’s story good: 

He goes through a trauma (losing his uncle) and finds a way to pick up the pieces himself, and become the person his uncle wanted him to be. The last words from his uncle is what becomes P*ter’s entire tagline and character arc: with great power, comes great responsiblity. His story is a classic coming-of-age, but its turned into a superhero story. How does T*ny affect that? Let’s discuss.  First, P*ter isn’t allowed to go through the character development he normally gets. He doesn’t figure out his powers on his own, he doesn’t work on his suit on his own (and with the help of his aunt). He doesn’t learn the fundamental lesson that his uncle teaches him: No matter what power you have, you are not infallible. The people are you will still die.  It also lacks the emotional weight of P*ter’s original trauma. T*ny was someone that he knew for a short time. His uncle raised him. We only feel sadness because we are supposed to be connected to t*ny. We don’t feel sadness because of P*ter.  Would B/tman's story be the same if he gained a mother figure later on in life? No. His story, like P*ter’s is about loss and loneliness. P*ter finds his power through kindness and selflessness. B/tman finds his in justice. P*ter cannot find his core values without the loss of his uncle, just as B/tman cannot find his core values without the loss of his mother

I stopped having interest in the marble universe back in 2015 and I'm not gonna see the opposite of start game until it's on Netflix. And free. This site won't shut up about it though. It's not a groundbreaking series. It's an ok series that got hyped beyond the realm of sanity and I'm so ready for it to be done.

Is it bad that I really liked the first Fantastic four movie. Like before the reboot. Sorry, I'm new here and wanted to talk about this marble topic. Or is it just mcu? Anyway, Fantastic Four before reboot was just fine. I watched this movie without knowing marble. It's a little cheesy and the cgi is not that good, but I liked it. Like, really liked it. Second movie was good too.

Infinity W@r enforces eugenics ideals. Thanos thinks overpopulation is a problem when it's not. The real problem is capitalism. And no hero in the movie ever acknowledges it or tells Thanos that he's wrong. Gamora comes close to pointing out the flaws in his plan but doesn't quite nail it. The writers starwmanned the argument. They try to make it seem like thanos has a point. It's propaganda

Ur definitely valid anon but like I wouldn’t call it enforcing eugenics because that would involve the vetting of entire groups of people where as this is said to be literally just 50% of people, that being said it would really realistically not be done by just killing every other living thing and their promotion of it in the way they do would most likely involve eugenics if it were to happen irl.
