Life, Dre-coded
10 posts
Hey, I'm Dre! And this is me trying to decode my life in public (ehem ehem Dre-coded, get it? LOL). All I know is that I love to dabble and I need an outlet. Tech. Analytics. Yoga. Jiu Jitsu. Pole-dancing. You name it—I’ve probably tried it. There’s just so much to do!!! My life is too spectacularly messy for Instagram, too raw for Facebook (my parents would probably faint) and too cancellable for Twitter. So, I'll just be here writing about it. If you’re into watching people fail forward, learn out loud, and overshare (semi-productively)—welcome. Have at it.

Enterprise-wide Financial Reporting Solution
Provided an end-to-end solution to support the organization's financial analysis and variance reporting process. This entire process:
Ingested financial data from a SharePoint site, processed it in Power Query and created a Dashboard that showed both an Financial Accounting and Management Reporting Perspective
Created a Microsoft Power App application that captured Variance Explanations from end-users and visualized it in the Dashboard
Managed end-user access to financial data by employing Role-level Security (RLS)
Streamlined Dashboard end-user maintenance by creating a Microsoft Power App application that manages who can use the VarEx app

End-to-end Solution for a Small Business
Creating an end-to-end solution for a small business. The goal is to have the following pipeline: 1. Have a web application that will capture data from users
2. Store data cheaply in a cloud-based database (Maybe something like Google or an alternative that is easy to deploy)
3. Model that database and be able to query it
4. Create a dashboard for my end-user that will also be hosted in the website where the data is ingested
