i'd quite literally sell my soul for one of these plots :

a slowburn friends to lovers with unrequited love bc the other one is actually in love with and yearning for their friend but said friend is oblivious

anything based off the dynamic between fitz and olivia from scandal seasons 1-2... the president (or not/some other position) is having an affair with someone from his campaign, they're fiercely in love but keep going through this back and forth & push and pull game. they orbit each other constantly, push each other, run into each other, keep falling into one another's arms over and over again bc after all, the other is the love of their life <3 tl;dr: politics/royalty meets affair plot with a man who lives and breathes for her

a ship based on it happened one summer by tessa bailey where a hot grumpy gruffy sea captain falls for an high - maintenance citygirl who's in town for the summer <3
