I’m so tired of trying to watch YouTube and then BANG! Harry Potter reference. Been hearing a lot about 4B lately, and I 100,000% understand why people are doing it. I think for a lot of people it’s the best option rn.

But as a trans guy, I am kinda annoyed how many people talking about it basically just say “men can’t be trusted” without recognizing a lot of these problems are not nearly as bad in queer men. (And other types of men, too, but as a white trans guy, idk as much about gender dynamics in those groups.)

It makes me feel kind of like an outcast in feminist spaces despite being directly affected by many of the same issues as cis women.

Like, I’m absolutely rooting for y’all in struggles you have that don’t apply to me, but it’s kind of frustrating being lumped in with people who LITERALLY WANT ME DEAD, just because I happen to be a guy.

Idk anyone else feel this way? Nothing against 4B. Just don’t love some of how people are talking about it.

As an atheist, I’ve heard the phrase, “Jesus died for your sins” so many times, but I have no idea what it means.

The two interpretations I came up with just based on language are

1. Jesus died because of sin

And 2. Jesus died so that people could sin

And I really doubt it’s the second one.

So I wanna know what christians think, especially if you’re someone who says that phrase specifically.

What are some of your Headcanons for his backstory? By the time we meet him he’s pretty old. What was the rest of his life like?

I’m not a big fan of Manfred himself, but his backstory affects how he might have raised his children (who I am big fans of), so I’m looking for some ideas in regards to that. So if you want to share some, I’d really appreciate it (:

Just a reminder that bodies being visible in public is not inherently sexual. If you tell people to cover up because them showing skin is sexual when they’re just chilling, they didn’t make it sexual. You did.

CW: Sexual harassment of a teenager

I am someone with ‘feminine’ breasts. I do not like to wear a shirt when I swim. It makes me uncomfortable.

Last time I went swimming I was harassed and told to cover up.

This person specifically drew attention to my body. They objectified me as someone whose body should be hidden because its visibility was sexual. I was 16 years old. They were grown ass men.

I haven’t been swimming since.

I’m hoping to go soon, but I’m terrified it will happen again.

They didn’t say anything specifically sexual, but what other reason would they have for asking me to cover my chest? The message was clear.

This was, in my opinion, sexual harassment. And it is viewed as totally acceptable by most people.
