This Finnish course is really just like bullying eivu the course, alternatively replace "eivu" with "people with bad social skills" for a more universal statement.

But like the teacher keeps talking about how stuff I find unnecessary and uncomfortable, like small talk, is neccesary for good communication with people.

Also, the teacher advocated for verbal presentations to have impact on the final grade which I view as a terrible idea because it could give people with bad social skills or people on the autism-spectrum an unfair disadvantage in grading.

Studying swedish in school after having taken more than a year off feels so strange cause I'll be doing task and then be the word I need comes to mind out of nowhere and I have to check if it's right or if I'm like making stuff up.

Like I needed to translate "opinion" and immediatelly when the word, there was a voice in the back of my mind that went "....en åsikt...."

It's like I'm being haunted by a Swedish ghost that's only mission is to remind me what I've already learnt.

Little Eivu-secret: If it seems like I post at strange times, I abuse the queuule system in order to have some semblance of a posting schedulem tbh isn't working that well for consistency.

I have been way too distracted from my worldbuilding and conlanging. Like I was meant to write a short story to explain the character who writes the explanation document (it uses an in-universe author) but instead I got stuck playing Guild Wars 2

School days with 40 minute lessons, instead of the normal 75, are nice. If I didn't have to attend a celebration-thingie as a coat-hanger, or whatever the persin who puts people's stuff into coat-racks is called in English.

I am genuinly baffled by our current Äidinkieli-teacher. You see, I am currently enrolled in a course named "Vuorovaikutus 3" (eng. Interraction 3) and since the subject of Äidinkieli (literally "mother tongue. In this case Finnish) is mostly a written subject, this obviously would mean "interraction via writing". But our teacher seems to think it means "Interraction via speech". I suspect this is due to said teacher having previously been a teacher of Ilmaisutaito (eng. Expression skill) at a lower secondary school. Well, news flash, this is upper secondary school and not lower. I did not sign up for a course on how "eye contact is important" and I'm pretty sure forcing me to use it could be viewed as causing unjust suffering.

If I wanted to learn expression skills, I would enroll in an EXPRESSION SKILLS COURSE. which I have not done for a reason!
