Tales from the Sky - Volume 1 Story 1 is out now 'True Love'

It has been a long time coming. Mario Creation is in the works of his first graphic novel (Volume-1) called ‘Tales from the Sky’, which consists of 5 short stories in one book. Not all stories are written by Mario Creation because he aims to gather perspectives and experiences from other minds and share it with the world in an æsthetic vision.

Mario Creation’s Art  at Hard Rock Cafe!

On November the 25th 2017, Mario Creation joined with Mark Butchoy and the Hard Rock Cafe in Shenzhen, China…

… and exhibited various art work, which would then be for sale.

The theme for his art work, which was given to him by Mark, was ‘Legendary Musicians in History’ and was tasked to draw Musical artists (more passed away artists) and have more than 6 or 7. Of course Mario had other designs in mind which will be shown below.

The success of his artwork had lead him to speak about it with the audience.

Dragon Ball Super fusion request

Instagram has grown become a great social media platform through out the years. It has also become a platform for showcasing skills and talents such make up designs, illustrations and modelling (plus more). With it’s semi-new function of applying multiple images to one posting, Mario Creation had come up with the idea to apply illustrative story telling to this element.

” I like to doodle and sketch to keep up my drawing skills because it helps my body and mind become used to it, so I decided to use the time, I had to doodle, to create quick 4 comic panels of continuous stories and share it with others

The story is Comic/ Manga is called ‘The Legendary Fight Tournament‘ and is based on, and features, celebrity Martial artists who are known by a wide range of people such as:

– Bruce Lee – Donnie Yen – Jean Claude Van Damme – Steven Seagal – Jet Li – Marc Decascos – Mohammed Ali +more

Each fighter has a different style of Martial Arts and brings this to the tournament with a background story and journey.”

Now there are a lot of emotions and discussions being shown all over the ‘Anime and Manga world’ media about the Boruto Manga. A lot of people are really angry about the fact that Masashi Kishimoto —ナルト – 岸本斉史 (The Naruto & Boruto Mangaka) has literally taken the movie of Boruto, and has made it into the Manga, and is now about to become an Anime!

Is this a question of laziness or is this the build up to the new story and arcs to come?

I have not read the Boruto mangas yet, however, I had taken a look at the newest chapter out (chapter 8) and noticed quite a few things.

First I would like to compare the drawings from the first Naruto mangas, that had come out, to the Naruto Shippuden manga, then up to the Boruto Manga.

Naruto:

The early drawings were highly detailed, the battles were self explanatory and was easy to read. You could flow through each page without trying to understand what is going on. You can see that more time had been put into it. Looking at the line art, you see every detail has been thought through by Masashi Kishimoto, from thick lines to thin. The background work is excellent! It gives a sense of atmosphere and mood tot he shot. The effects are even drawn great, with each panel timely paced and spaced out.

Naruto Shippuden:

As you can see in these images of the manga, the art has kept it’s steady quality. Backgrounds and line art are even more impeccable. However as you get towards the end of the Naruto Shippuden manga, (during the war) you start to notice a downfall in quality.

Boruto:

And this is the quality I am talking about. The same amount of detail implemented in the older Manga, has been removed from the later ones. Is this laziness, or does Masashi Kishimoto not care? Could it be due to the fact that He wanted to end Naruto a few YEARS ago?;

Q: When did you decide how to end “Naruto”? Kishimoto: “Since the work was first serialized, I have been determined to end the manga series with the battle between protagonist Naruto and Sasuke, who has been his rival since the start of the story. I later decided on the details, little by little, such as whether they would fight each other as friends or enemies, their feelings and dialogues, while I was drawing the series. Around two years ago, I began to feel the story was approaching the finale.

When the series started, the editor responsible for my work told me, “Continue the series for at least five years.” The tough work of continuing to draw “Naruto” for the weekly magazine occasionally made me think that I would like to finish the series. I did not think “Naruto” would last for 15 years.

The story lasted for such a long period because the characters “stuck it out.” When I attempted to quickly offer an answer (to issues raised in the story), the characters did not allow me to do so. If I had made them act as I wished, the reality would have been lost.

Because manga artists are always working inside rooms, it is difficult for us to see firsthand if our works are really popular. It was not until I received many fan letters from overseas that I realized (“Naruto” is) popular outside Japan. Some of those letters are written in languages I do not know, so I understand that my work is read by people in various countries.” dailyanimeart.com/2014/11/11 

Many fans are slowly becoming disappointed with the Boruto series. It seems as if it is only a repeat of the whole Naruto one. But just like Kashimoto said, He had no idea the Naruto manga would last so long, could it be that the Boruto manga will go on for a long time also? Here are what fans commented, when Kashimoto released chapter 8 of the Boruto manga, on Facebook:

In my opinion, I would say the manga is definitely lowered it’s quality, and as of now, I do not know 100% who is drawing the manga. Other than that, the fact that He has taken some parts from the movie is fine, Dragon ball Super had done this also, and Now Dragon ball Super is really becoming popular because of the story arcs that came after. Boruto may just end up being another Manga that will continue for more years to come!
