I don't know if any of you have ever truly seen my face before, but here it is. It is the face of a dead man walking.

Ballot 2024 is complete, and we are less than three months from Presidential Inauguration Day. Never have I been more afraid for my continued survival than I am right now.

So I now have a lot of work to do, including the settlement of my personal affairs and obligations. I will, in the very near future, also speak with my family about the results of yesterday; I trust there will be much to talk about.

It is painfully clear to this 51-year-old gay Black man that in the eyes of many, I do not exist. This is now a time when things must be done before their time.
