can we talk for a moment about how the self ship community treats wlw/nblw shippers??

we're constantly ignored by the community and are very underrepresented compared to other self shippers, even now during pride month. ppl just seem to care less abt ships that dont include men/male aligned people and will outright overlook wlw/nblw shippers who dont happen to have male aligned f/os on their lists, which is, honestly speaking, incredibly weird.

i've also seen some people claim that we're the majority in this community, which isnt true. at all. its a fact that we're the minority and that sapphic representation simply isnt prioritized by people. that also includes the self ship community.

this isnt just an issue with the community though, but in general. we're constantly demonized and made out to be some sort of evil man haters which just makes our experience more isolating than it already is. uplift wlw/nblws voices, show them actual support. not just during pride month, but in general. do better.
