im so happy youre back and back into drawing again. i remember seeing your art once back when i was deep in my naruto era and it inspired me

Thank you so much! I felt like a piece of me died when I couldn’t use my arm anymore, and I did A LOT of therapy to get back to where I am now. I think my confidence was lost too- I had a scary incident with an person online that occurred around the same time as the injury, and it took time to realize that contributed a lot to it (PTSD up the wazoo apparently). But I spent all that time writing and thinking about what I want to do in the future, and I am excited to get back to my Akatsuki story (Chizome) and draw fan art for fun again! My ultimate goal is to sell original work too, and even do DnD cms haha. I also have a NaruSaku fanfic in the works as well! I have come to love writing as much as drawing!

Naruto seems to be ingrained into me- my passion for it hasn’t dwindled even a bit, so I’ll just get back to what I love :) Thank you so much for your support, and for being here years later! It means so much to have kind people like you reach out ❤️

Inktober Day 7- Nekomata

Deep in the mountains…

One particularly monstrous breed of bakeneko is a two-tailed variety known as nekomata. Nekomata are found in cities and villages, transformed from ordinary cats. They are born in the same way as other bakeneko, though only the oldest, largest cats with the longest tails (and thus more power and intelligence) become this powerful variety. When these cats transform from ordinary animals into yokai, their tale splits down the center into two identical tails. These are the monster cats most likely to be seen walking about on their hind legs and speaking human languages.

While not all bakeneko are malicious or violent towards their masters, all nekomata certainly are. They look upon humans with contempt, and are often responsible for summoning fireballs that start great conflagrations, killing many people. They frequently control corpses with their necromantic powers like puppet-masters, and they use their powerful influence to blackmail or enslave humans into doing their bidding.

The most dangerous and powerful nekomata live deep in the mountains, in the shape of wild cats like leopards and lions. These wild monster cats grow to incredible sizes, many meters long, and prey on other large animals, such as wild boars, dogs, bears, and of course humans. (from Yokai.com)

Hidakona Month Day 28: Reaper x Angel AU

Hidan is a Grim Reaper, and is tasked with taking Deidara’s soul to the afterlife. By some coincidence, Hidan mistakes Deidara with Naruto, due to a nickname fiasco.(Deidara and Naruto go to the same high school.) Hidan attempts to take Naruto’s soul when Konan, a Guardian Angel, appears and demands he is mistaken.

Since Hidan made himself known to Naruto, Naruto can see Konan too. The two supernatural beings constantly bicker over who is right, and Naruto is terrified. They later change their appearances to look more human, in an attempt to calm him down. 

Meanwhile, Deidara, who had blown himself up in the science lab, is carted away in an ambulance, cheating death once more!

Meanwhile, Hidan’s hand is on Deidara’s ass 😔🙏

Hidakona Month Day 16- Band of Killers

Fans are pulling together theories about the unconfirmed relationship between Reaper, the lead guitarist, and Angel, the back up singer. This is some “evidence” proving that they are together. The fans do not quit, even for a minute. 

Hidan would tell the whole world about their relationship, but Konan prefers privacy. 

Based on episode 457, when Hidan asks Konan, Kakuzu and Itachi if they are in some sort of band. Konan later says “We are a band of killers” which is where I got their name from This AU takes place in the regular Naruto universe, so they are still S-rank criminal ninjas. But now they can also ROCK!

(And yessss, this was Hidakona Month back in December, but I’m still trying tofinish these prompts! More Hidakona and Band of Killers to come!)

Band of Killers: Fire

Deidara always managed to set something on fire by “accident”, so he was banned from touching anything explosive. He still managed to get his hands on some “ingredients” once- his best explosion yet. So they gave up and made him drummer XD I actually have a whole story about Sasori as well, but haven’t drawn it out yet… Will get to it eventually.
