i really love Qworu but Rebuild sucks ngl, probably one of the worst timelines to me and the fact that its the timeline that ends the others. i just dont like how it solved the franchise problems, which ironically seems to create even more problems to me.

and dont get me start on Mari. i dont like how she is developed as almost every male's fantasy, a straight up manic pixie dream girl appears out of nowhere and solves all of the mc's problems which i think its kinda lame. i think her being in the manga is enough or there are bunch of different ways to get to know her character.

i dont really care who Shinji ends up with but i think its best if everyone gets their own paths to discover themselves. Rebuild could have stopped there and left the predications to us. clearly theres no one winning in wars (shipping war specifically), only the paths to define ourselves.

i lowkey hc the reason why Kawo looks so different in every official art is because of his multiple versions of the loops. and the fact that hes the only one who remembers every loop makes him change slightly while other characters almost remain the same...
