Hey, hopefully I'm just being a bit impatient, but it's been a while since we've gotten any updates on your writing or plans of... is all well?

I don't mean any rush, and obviously life comes first, but I'm always excited for more from you and your work.

I have BIG plans, trust me. Maybe by the end of May I shall return in a blaze of glory.

Life hit me and I've got a deadline for a job I gotta do (the deadline got cut in half and I'm soooooo mad right now RAAAAHHH!!!)

UHHHHHH. Lemme see.

🌟Monkie See Monkie Do - Chapter 35, the very last chapter, Home. It's just so cool to see MK use everything he's ever learned to its fullest.

🧣Things That Follow Me - Chalter 19, Memories can be Haunting. Might be the best fight scene I've ever written. I've read it over and over again in awe. Like, wow, that came out of my brain. A close second has to be Chapter 9, In and Out. There's a reason I wrote a massive oneshot based on everyone else's perspective. The final chapter was also very sweet and wholesome.

🌊Tidesinger - Chapter 12, To See the Stars. This chapter was the turning point of the story. I found it really funny Wukong and Macaque used to be so upfront with how much they were attracted to each other, but once they actually had a nice moment, they realized they could have an actual relationship. From that point on, they were shyer and kinder around each other. It's a dynamic I've never done before and was pretty cool.

❄️Favorite Oneshot - Cold as the Moon, Hot as the Sun. It's a relatively simple shadowpeach story, but has the perfect amount of angst and fluff combined into one.

🔥??? - Mmmm nature symbolism. Music is fun.

Yes, I'm working on another. This is what the last week looks like for me.

Oh my gosh, he's gripping his hair that's so funny and drooling all over the place, nasty yet cute!

Seeing my design of Macaque drawn out of my style for the first time is amazing . Like, wow, he looks so cool! You even got his face marking right (Fun fact,: it's purposely different from canon, it was a mistake the first time I drew him, but I liked it so much I decided to keep it that way!)

That reminds me, I wanted to make an art section in my oneshot collection someday. Welp, I better start collecting them up!

Little art for @fancyrat4 from their oneshot 'New Life' - MK recommends Macaque at babysitting the baby Shanfeng. It doesn't happen but I drew it if it did. ;)

I'm planning another sequel for Monkie See Monkie Do someday that's more of a "true" continuation than the other sequels I'll make. Does that make sense? Idk. The point is, there's a chance she could return!

MK's eyes and ears start to play cruel tricks on him. He starts seeing and hearing strange things that nobody else can. And, for some reason, he always feels the need to draw whenever something odd occurs. Doing so helps, but not for long.

After all, you can't chase away the things that follow you when your mind finally decides to betray you.

-MK had burnout, and being an inventor himself, Red Son felt pity and offered to be the monkey's muse. However, MK's next project was not a painting but a song, and Red Son quickly found himself out of his depth.

Red Son refused to give up and helped MK anyway and realized there's so much more to MK than he could ever imagine.

Euhang from @fancyrat4's story Monkie See Monkie Do. Tried some different hair styles with her as well. Tried to get light auburn flowing hair, and hopefully got something close to what was imagined. ^^

I also wanted to try and draw her a bit scruffier as well but just didn't have time. ^^; I imagine in monkey standards she's gorgeous >////<

Made her face mask a little sharper as well but now am wondering if I should have gone even sharper o.o

Been reading some of their stories and have really enjoyed their Monkie See Monkie Do writing. Got especially attached to their characters Jing and Euhang and so, of course, that meant I had to start drawing ^^ Jing first

Went through a couple different hair styles - Knew it was shoulder length scruffy hair with a surfer dude vibe - so I hope I nailed it :3

Myths surrounded the uncharted island to the west. It was said to hold a magical treasure, but sailors who tried to claim it rarely made it back alive. Those who did return spoke of a haunting, melancholic song that lured them in, only to be followed by a violent storm. No accounts existed of anyone who had reached the shore and lived to tell the tale. Once you wreck, the island's man-eating guardian rises from the depths to slaughter those who survive.

With nearly nothing left to lose, Sun Wukong took on the challenge, but quickly found himself drowning. He found himself shipwrecked, and he realized that someone saved his life. Little did he know, his savior was not what he seemed.

When the Pirate King woke up, he came face-to-face with the source of the singing, a siren unlike any other. The guardian of the island, Tidesinger, whose real name was Macaque, was sharp-tongued and wickedly beautiful.

I have LOT'S of ideas, I'll come back swinging real soon! It won't have an update schedule, I'll just slap whatever on it whenever I want. It's not just gonna be MSMD, but any other LMK story I come up with. I might drop some ideas of my own to kickstart it, it's gonna be a surprise!
