I love how spider - girl is really an opportunity for Aisha to be different ,  act different .   like it’s obviously still her ,  but an almost goofy ,  charismatic side of her that she rarely gets to showcase around strangers .   she can throw quips around ,  be charming and engaging in a different way to how she would be as Aisha Farooq ,  and the mask and costume offer her a unique sense of liberation ,  free really of judgement  (  or rather ,  judgement that would hurt otherwise   ---   it’s hard to give a shit while you’re swinging around the city   ) .    I think Aish loves being a superhero ,  because it’s almost like a performance ,  albeit with more near - death experiences  dkjfhdkjf
