we are so ableist about memory. people with good memory take for granted the fact that they can recall as much as they can, and use that to taunt, guilt and threaten people with memory issues. many neurotypes and mental illnesses cause memory lapses. traumatic brain injuries can cause memory lapses. brain cancer can cause memory lapses.

even if your memory is good, it's not right to guilt someone because they can't remember something. trust me, people with memory problems are desperately trying to remember: it's just that we literally can't. it is a very literal "i can't remember".

my friend printed her out and I sanded all the pieces, strung her together, painted her, made her little outfit and eyeballs and shes so FREAKING cute

I had no plan going in but her design is super solid!! I didn’t have resin for the eyes, so I just squished polymer clay into her sockets and added divots for her pupils, painted them in, and globbed on three layers of modge podge!

The sweater i crocheted with a very tiny hook and the wings are a button! Originally the wings were red but i just painted them ourple

POV, you are Fang. Your pet 6-year-old teams up with a mad scientist and they fucking kill you. This is the first nap you’ve gotten in 15 years. Your girlfriend/bestie brings you back to life just in time to see your found family murder everyone in the room except the guy who literally murdered you, because apparently that was taking things too far, and your rival love interest attempt suicide. Nothing comes of that last point, apparently he injected himself with saline or something. You stumble back to your safehouse, where your pet 6-year-old still lives with you, her murder (manslaughter??) unaddressed, and so does your (suicidal??) rival, his suicide also unaddressed. Your girlfriend/bestie says your injuries (you literally died) are “only a bad memory” and your six-year-old (she literally killed you) hasn’t fully made amends with your girlfriend/bestie, but that’s okay because there’s a wedding for a dog coming up. It’s a very expensive event. Planning went into this. Presumably this was being planned before you died. You’re wearing a suit for the first time in your life.

Three hours after the wedding you drop off the face of the earth and tell everyone that you’ll see them in 20 years at the earliest. This is a perfectly reasonable action to take.
