moving too fast
a force of the past
the timing is off
like always it scoffs
maybe the time will tune
one day when the flowers bloom
until then I dont know
you'll find me in the snow
with the wind I will go
as above, so below

stopping myself
from making it worse
I put it on the shelf
it feels like a curse
deleting texts
a lingering ex
it would be fine
but you didnt speak your mind
now I'm the one
who reflects

kiss me slow
before you go
did you look for me
through the air plane window
as the sky steals you
away from my home
my scent leaves with you
with your thoughts to roam
in your drunken haze
amid the maze
your lilac gaze
it makes me insane
so kiss me slow, let time suspend,
for this is where my dreams won't end
though you fly far, my heart will know,
I'll carry you still, wherever you go

Things will never be the same
As quickly as it came
Like an ocean to a flame
For carbon to reclaim
There's no blame or shame
To whoever collects the claim
As death is never in name
Things will never be the same

as the wind blows below
a rose could not sew
the threads of love
so blistering cold
in the winters soft kiss
soft snow and moonlight
within a cinders bliss
fleeting hearts in the night

Orpheus - a Jeff Buckley tribute
As a man of wisdom
And a man of song
He wept so beautifully
He poured his heart into his lungs
A melancholy so common
That the rocks could only weep
When you move the world you weigh on
Then the eyes begin to reap
Able to calm the vehement rage of an animal unprovoked
To cross the seas and trees as they curve to every note
In the underworld, where hades is remote, Even He becomes one from the fathoms of the throat
Return now to the land of love and light
Your cries remain here to shine through the night

As she held your hand and begged you to squeeze
You lay there with your head in the breeze
Aware of it all but unable to greive
We surround you, wanting to believe
Hopeful joking veils the room
For it is death, and he's come to consume
Dont be afraid of the makers tomb
The final breath, as the flowers bloom

O’er thy misty shadows
Amidst the rain of yesterdays
I succumb to my shallows
Before the sun breaks the grey

There once was this old, old crow
Who never knew which way to go
He couldn’t hear his fellow birds
All the cawks and the currs
I’ll always see him outside the window
If I would ask, then mama would know
We’d look at the birds come and go
With Pa in the chair
And now it’s time for the snow
To come slow and blow the shadow
I see myself in that little crow
And we’re all still here

When I reach my room
An empty tomb
Bury me alone
No belongings but stone
I belong to the sound
As the worms wriggle round
I'll give back to the ground
The planet drowned
As I stand before Osiris
Waiting to be judged
This journey isnt over
Through the duat I've trudged
Will I reach the field of reeds
In time for my soul to move on
Will I preach the shield of needs
Mid climb I prime the pawn
Will I see the faces above me
As I leave this temporal chamber
Or will I see the cracks in the ceiling
No one to blame but my danger
Which side of the scale
Will my heart compare to the feather
If I were to prevail
And complete this endeavor

How would it feel
To jump from star to star
Just to remember who you are
Amidst a fury of gravity waves
How would it feel
To return to sender
Of gods ember
the universal sender
A blitz of fire and blaze
A cells mission was never written
From dust we arisen
It all comes from the same rythym
Who's to say whats meant to be
I wont say itll never be me
Some of these people have faith in destiny
Some others could, use some desperately
And then another may treat it, like weaponry
The next one attacks it with zealotry
All I know is we come from the same place
Endlessly

Scuffed
And one day when the world succumbs to snow
And all the things we know have come and blown
Youll catch me on the moon
With my toes dipped in bloom
No room to consume
Ill be laughing at it all
The hysterically impalled
Will march forever in torture beyond our eyes realms
Searching for whatever they can find
Grasping onto whatever is alive
To ground themselves to their past lives
Cemented into the sands of time

Looking for the answers
While winter's hue fades away
Like dancer like prancer
All the blues and the greys
Through the rain and the blame I can't help but feel shame
As for the aim and the main silencer of the flame
Adolescent connection pressed to test the best
Prepubescent convection dressed to impress the rest
Left to dust to rust and compress the next
Petty little reminders of what once was, and whats left

Never enough to crumble to dust
Whenever I must get up I fumble to just
Fall back down again into the seemingless end
Of a tale once told by many old folks
A trail left behind on the old oaks
To not go chasing what may be breaking
And leave you aching and shaking in your own self portration

A poem floating through the stream of consiousness
Every night
When I go outside
To inhale my aspirations and exhale my sorrows
I look at the night sky
And all the little white dots
Flaring through the universe
I'll always end up thinking
About those stars
But on a particularly clear night
I was on a stroll through the moonlight
Gazing through infinity I had found
the brightest of them all
it had shone and sparkled so pure and sweet
I could not help but stare
A thought occured to me as i stood there
insignificantly beautiful with all our little quirks
We think its all meaningful of life in our little nooks
Well maybe it is but that is subjective
in the grand scheme of things there is but one objective

Poem #14
desolation congregation creation of a nation
dictation damnation migration to frustration and back to cremation
it seems nobody can find some mutual osculation
an observation of the population makes a vibration felt through the board rooms of the, department of education perhaps one may say its an oversimplification of terms used to describe what feels like magnetic levitation

Poem #13
Would you look inside yourself? Look for your misdeeds, mistrusts, misbeliefs you've shelled? Or would you rather search to find Maybe it's what you've lost or maybe left behind It could be what you're missing Or it could be what you need But I guess you'll never know unless you take a look inside and see
