Some personal art today. I want to redesign most of my characters, and I even surprised myself that I started with a minor character: Zola.

She is a shimmerscale, a halfdragon species that is known for their, obviously, shiny scales and their high affinity for soul magic.

Due to a rare mutation Zola absorbs way more magical energy than other shimmerscales, granting her increased magic and even human-like intelligence. She got adopted by Schleicher when she was an orphaned hatchling.

Also have some really crudely drawn Schleicher for size comparison.

This piece is basically a continuitation of my "Celestial" Piece. When I do Chronos, who marks the beginning of everything in my lore, I HAD to also do Umbra, who is the end of all.
