I watched Onward the other day and it's such a good movie! I fell in love with Laurel so I had to do a quick costume!

I premiered my lady dwarf OC Dirka today at my local renaissance festival and I felt so beautiful even with a beard. This has been a dream costume of mine for a long time and I'm so pleased with how it came out!

I did a full costume test for my dwarrowdam costume and I am in love! I've wanted to do this costume since I was 15 years old, I've always loved the rich culture of Tolkien's dwarves! I totally love my beard and I want to wear it always. This is supposed to be an OC but I think I could pass as Lady Dis as well. I'm super excited to wear this to my local Renaissance Fair!

I finished my Clementine cosplay just in time for the final episode. I'm very nervous but at the same time I'm excited to see how our girl's story ends 🧡

I’m looking for a beta reader!

I’ve never had a beta reader before so I’m currently on the lookout for one, especially someone who is in the DA fandom! I suck at grammar and I second-guess a lot of what I write. I need someone to not only help with spelling, punctuation etc but I also need someone to help with ideas and making sure everyone is character. I’m very insecure with my writing at times so I want someone honest who will tell me when an idea is whack.

I am currently working on a compilation fic about my Inquisitor, Dirka Cadash. She romances Iron Bull but the whole fic will not just focus on their romance.

This is my favorite Star Wars quote of all time, it resonates with many of us that LOVE truly conquerors all.

With those words in mind, I want to focus on what we love to counteract hate.

The character Rose and her wonderful actress, Kelly Marie Tran, both made their debut in the Star Wars universe in the new movie, The Last Jedi.

I, like many others, fell in love not only with the character but the amazing person portraying her. Unfortunately, with the release of the movie, some people have relentlessly spewed racist and sexist hate towards Kelly and her character. She has not done anything to deserve such bile.

I have the idea to make a compilation video comprising of all of Rose’s and Kelly’s fans expressing their love for her. You can record a video of yourself talking about how much you love Rose, you can costume as her, you can draw fanart. If you’re shy you can even take a photo of yourself holding up a sign with words of love for Kelly. The possibilities are endless! And then I want to send it to Kelly Marie Tran herself. Whether she would see it or not, my ultimate goal is for people to know that not everyone is full of hate.  

Right now the hate is just the loudest. I want us to be louder.

Finally some positivity!

I just really love Finn x Rose, okay?

Finn was a deserter of the First Order and then almost a deserter of the rebellion, and the only thing he had loyalty to or cared enough about to fight for was his best friend. And then scrappy Rose Tico blew into his life and inspired him to believe in a cause bigger than himself, and Finn went from looking for an escape pod to gloating about being ‘Rebel Scum’ in 24 hrs. At the end of the movie, he emerged as a resistance leader and became the hero Rose always thought he was from the beginning. I keep thinking of how proud she’s going to be of him when she wakes up.

Cadash hating being picked up, because they are self conscious about their weight. Sure they are a dwarf and short, but they are also pretty stocky and super self aware of how heavy they can be, and they dont want their friends or loved one to get hurt trying to have fun.

Then Iron Bull comes along and has absolutely no issue picking them up. At first they fight it, face flushing and complaints tumbling from their mouth. But after time, they realize Bull really does have no problem with it, so they start to seek him out and leap into his arms, or ride on his shoulders.

Cadash and Iron Bull ships are just the sweetest!
