Life for children in the Gaza Strip has always been very difficult, even before the recent escalation. For some children, this is their fourth war. There is no safe place for children anywhere in the Strip😔‼️

Moataz, his wife Maryam, and their baby girl Maria were attempting to evacuate to Egypt following the destruction of their home and the siege of Al-Shifa Medical Complex that trapped them for weeks. They hoped to get to safety in Egypt, and find work so they could raise the funds needed to return to Gaza and rebuild their home. However, the day before they were set to travel, the occupation illegally seized control of Rafah crossing. The crossing is now closed and it is not known when it will reopen.

Moataz and his family are now trying to raise funds to rebuild their home after it was destroyed by lOF bombardment. They will not be able to raise the required funds on their own if they cannot reach Egypt. Please support their campaign to rebuild their home.

amal is a 26 year old mother from gaza. she is an incredibly dedicated and loving mother to her year old daughter, maryam. before the war, she was studying to receive her masters degree in french language. on her instagram (@/amal_sufian97_) she shared beautiful photos of her life and family in the years before the war.

Is This The Life "Eileen" Deserves ?!

The color of her eyes is not blue or green, it is yellow, and her face is the same. I'm Mahmoud and she is Eileen, my niece and my spoiled child. She is 8 years old, Malnutrition and unhealthy eating due to the war is what did this to her. We took her to the hospital several times. A doctor says It is a "liver epidemic", and another doctor says it is a "breakdown in the blood", and another doctor says it is a "disease common among children", but everyone agreed that it is due to malnutrition. My name is Aya, I'm 29 years old. I'm married to Jihad, who is 32, and we have three beautiful children: Abdelrahman (7 years old), Jori (5 years old), and Adam (2 years old). We live in the northern part of Gaza.

Abdelrahman, Adam, and Jori are the heartbeat of my heart and the light of my life.

Since the onset of the latest war in Gaza, our home has been completely destroyed, forcing us into displacement. We’ve had to move more than thirteen times in search of safety. During this harrowing journey, we faced severe hunger and malnutrition that nearly took my life and the lives of my children. Additionally, we were exposed to numerous contagious diseases and dangerous epidemics.

Before: This is our home, our dream, and our promising future.

My children have to travel long distances just to get water and stand in line for hours to get food. Their mental health has been shattered by the war, their education has come to a halt, and they have suffered from catastrophic hunger that almost claimed their lives.

After: This is our home, built with our sweat and effort, and it has been completely destroyed.

Amidst the devastating conflict engulfing Gaza,

I, Ahmed Alanqer, aged 34, find myself navigating life alongside my wife, Dina Almnasra, and our four beloved children: Zeina, aged 7, Eileen, aged 6, Yamen, aged 4, and our newborn baby girl born amidst the current chaos of war.

I worked as an accountant in a stable company until the escalating winds of war disrupted my professional life and ravaged our home and goods warehouse. Fleeing northward, we refuge in makeshift tents in Deir al-Balah.

Life is not easy for them, as fears of healthcare shortages and harsh conditions surround them mercilessly.

Mychildren suffer from diseases and long for their previous days and schools, while the harsh realities of living in war unfold in all its severity.

Our daily reality is harsh and unforgiving, surrounded by fears of healthcare shortages and the brutal conditions of displacement. Our children face illnesses and yearn for the stability of their schools and the comfort of their former lives, while the grim realities of war unfold around us."In this brutal conflict, my children have endured unimaginable fear and uncertainty.

Their education has been disrupted for over 9 months, depriving them of the chance to learn and grow as they once dreamed. Gone are the toys and games that once brought them joy, replaced by the stark reality of displacement and constant upheaval," I sadly reflect.

We've experienced repeated displacements, facing increased health risks due to weakened immunity and the challenges of maintaining basic hygiene amidst the chaos of war.

My wishes that they find support and assistance to escape from these difficult situations.

Ahmed's current goal is to get his family out of Gaza to start a new life in safety and peace. The costs of travel make this dream unattainable, as travel costs $5000 for adults and $2500 for each child, in addition to accommodation and travel expenses.
