its been a while, hasn’t it?

the last couple months have been hectic, but i wanted to post a little check in!

things that happened/are happening/will happen:

- i graduated HS

- i hit 6 months on testosterone (6/15/2024)

- i have been looking for a second job

- i have been looking for my first house/apartment

- i have been hella mentally unwell

- i am (hopefully) going to my first ever concert next month

- i have my first ever psychiatrist appointment in a few weeks

-i start college in august

overall, life has been quite the experience. adulting has been weird and terrifying, yet also incredibly freeing.

if i remember, i will make posts semi-regularly at the very least.

i am having yet another college/career related crisis, as i do almost semi-yearly.

one thing i noticed this time, however, is i ALWAYS end up back at elementary education.

i think i am going to stick with it this time, i really do.

lately i’ve just been overflowing with an unquenchable sense of yearning and i don’t know how to handle it

the 1930s popeye cartoons were so peak. my guys driving a 200,000 ton ship onto land and parking it in front of his house. leaves his baby unattended in the middle of the road. comes back to find it surrounded by cars honking loud as fuck and his solution is not to move the baby out of the road but to murder everyone else. straightup flattens each car with a single punch. im not saying i condone these actions i think hes a bad person and i hope bluto kills him for the good of humanity but theres just something about the level of violence and depravity popeye commits thats hard to look away from

i want to dress in a sort of cottagecore/fae/fairycore aesthetic but i cant find any good inspiration that follows this in a masculine sense!

im getting super bummed!

how do i achieve these aesthetics without appearing completely feminine?

every time i attempt to find inspiration for myself in these aesthetics, i am met with various forms of academia and/or grunge vibes, which totally arent what im going for.

Hi! My name is Sof and I created a legacy challenge for all my space loving nerds out there. I created a version of this a while ago, but I decided to tweak it and repost it.

Welcome to the Space Legacy Challenge: A 10 Generation Sims 4 Challenge Inspired by the Planets in Our Milky Way! 🌌

NOTE: I’ve gotten some questions about a potential Sims 3 version of the Space Legacy Challenge. I haven’t played much of the Sims 3, so I don’t feel qualified to make a version of this challenge for the game. However, if anyone wants to make a Sims 3 version, you are more than welcome to. Just be sure to tag me!

Basic Rules:

-Start as a young adult

-Your sim can be any gender and have any sexual orientation 

-You can create generation one’s family (parents/siblings) beforehand but not necessary and won’t interfere with the challenge if you do or don’t

-Money cheats are allowed to get a house at the start, but try not to go overboard

-Mods and custom content are allowed 

-Complete the aspiration and challenge goals that go with each generation

-Incorporating the generation’s color into your sims’ clothing and house is encouraged but not necessary if you don’t want to

Hello friends!

I haven’t been on Tumblr in quite a while (oops)

Heres a little bit of a life update, I guess?

I started T 😁

I got accepted into a few colleges!!

I have been working my butt off at my job, which I only started around the last time I posted on here

My mental health has been fluctuating a lot, especially as of lately

I have been trying to find ways to actively motivate myself

I have been testing out some healthy coping skills

I started taking a psychology course!

I know it may not seem like much to you guys, but my life has been quite eventful over these last few months. I do feel myself slipping out of a high point in my life at the moment, but I intend to practice healthy coping mechanisms and find ways to push through/get around big obstacles I may come across.

Now, enough about me, how have you all been?
