Our peas are thriving. We have a few tiny tomatoes and a few flowers on our bell peppers, hopefully in a few weeks he have some tomatoes and peppers

Found a big fishing spider today!

Nice to find big beauties like this around my property, i love seeing them

This is called a bee mimic beetle and it's a type of scarab beetle. I've never seen one before so this was an awesome find

White admiral butterfly i saw today. Was refilling the hummingbird feeder and i think it was waiting for me to finish and leave so it could have a snack

Sort of a repost, redid the wings on my fairysona and wanted to add them to the ref sheet. I'll probably make a couple different sets in different positions so i have them on hand in the future

Also saw this beautiful marbled cellar spider. I've seen so many cellar spiders but never this kind, it was very pretty. Gorgeous patterning

Garden update time

Well, flower update.

To start, a few week ago my uncle gave me a bunch of sunflower sprouts from his garden, as mine didn't sprout and last year some seeds god tilled into his garden, meaning he's got a bunch of accidental sunflowers. I planted them all, because frankly i didn't think all of them would grow, but of course they have. I might take a few out, or leave it to see what happens, i haven't decided

The flowerbed is doing great, lots of blooms. Did a bit of pruning on some of them, which they responded very well to. I'm pretty excited to watch them fill out the garden more

I'll post the vegetables tomorrow probably, but they are doing great as well

Found something that isnt a bug today

Saw a large blandings turtle wandering through my yard. Of course i had to get a few pictures, ended up doing a short video

Wasp moment

I don't know what kind of wasp this is specifically, google says potter wasp

A dragonfly i hung out with last week. It was cold out and he was slow, i brought him inside to warm up, offered him some sugar water which he actually drank and then was on his way

Huge day for me. Saw a bug ive literally never seen in person before

It was only around for a short time but still. I will be riding this high for the next week

Saw a beautiful yellow swallowtail butterfly happily enjoying a dead fish that a bird likely dropped. Cool to watch

Barn cat did mitosis again and made more. My uncle doesn't want to get her fixed because he says they work better as barn cats intact, no clue if thats true but i know arguing over it won't change his mind. He's old fashioned and has been doing things the same for 50 years

But these little buggers are cute, i couldn't see all of them because they are behind a stack of wood and stuff but i counted at least 5

I just uh really hope these aren't incest kittens with her son they kept around
