one of my absolute favorite songs, i have more screenshots from this performance and i’m so sad tumblr wont let me share them all in one post. kamijo’s delivery, as a former choir kid, is just insane. to be able to sing with such power and spirit for over 10 minutes in a way that never stops building, it’s simply awe inspiring. i love kamijo so much, and it sucks that i wasn’t able to see him on his most recent tour, but i hope that when he finalized his move to LA, he’ll be performing more and i’ll be able to go

Symbolism in the new Black Veil Brides era

Black Veil Brides have been using Lucifer iconography a lot this era

He´s on their backdrop of the current tour

On their merchandise

On Andy´s jacket

(He also painted him and showed it on the TAS Patreon but I can´t show that due to it not being public)

The theme of the record is Outcasts, as seen with the video CYOA teasers and the upcoming documentary. Lucifer was cast out of heaven, and on the bvb merch website, his t-shirt design is titled "The First Outcast"

The "War in Heaven shirt" also features Lucifer, along with the roman numeral XXVI (2006) which is (I think?) the year bvb was first created, which could be seen as the band branding themself as the outcasts who fell along with lucifer with the war in heaven as the moment of their creation ("we are the fallen angels or what fucking ever")

Not sure what the "burned wings" iconography is for, maybe it´s referring to Lucifer losing his wings after falling from grace and they thought "let´s base our logo on that", perhaps it´s the name of the next single or the album or something, we´ll see

The new logo is also really cool, I call it the mo(u)rning star for Lucifer reference, I like the pointyness

This was a long way of saying "Lucifer is a central motif of the current Black Veil Brides era, it´s all about outcasts and will most likely feature biblical references"
