This isn’t the pain olympics. Someone can hurt while you’re hurting, people are allowed to hurt over things at the same time as you. People are allowed to be upset by “lesser” issues while you’re upset about something huge. It doesn’t invalidate your pain, it’s okay to not be the only one hurting. Just chill. That’s like saying nobody but the most starved person alive is allowed to be hungry. It literally makes no sense. People aren’t hurting to try to make your hurt seem smaller. It’s involuntary. Let other people be emotionally hungry. Let other people starve for positivity, because let’s face it; the world isn’t gonna stop having sad people in it because you’re sad. It never has and never will.
