i had requests to release this theme i used on my blog a while back, it’s pretty minimalistic and would look good for indies and rpts. message me if you see anything funky with the code or if you need help customizing! the sidebar is 210x120px !

rules: do not remove/alter the credit in any way, do not treat this as a base code, do not use any coding in this theme in another theme and do not redistribute the code.

THEME 01 : BLOOD-SWORN / this is the first theme i’ve ever made, so please be gentle. some html knowledge is necessary for this code. background image & sidebar image must be added through the html. the sidebar image should have a width of around 275px, but should autoresize.

+ as requested, here are a few movie poster templates with different styles. 

+ there are three total. the first was inspired by action/thriller movie posters. the second one was inspired by comedy movie posters. the third was inspired by romance movie posters. but you can use them for whatever you want, whatever genre you wish.

+ once you add the image/edit to the template, it will really come to life. I was too lazy to make the examples look decent, but hopefully, you get the idea.

+ you can change the fonts, rearrange the positions of things, etc.

How do you use templates or in other words what do you use them for?

You use templates as a base for edits/graphics. You can edit them however you like.

For example, in this template, you can add an image, edit the swatches, add text, etc. So you can go from this:

I added an edit in the center, changed the swatch colors, changed the title, and added some lyrics to the bottom. 

It’s just to have fun and/or to make graphics for OCs or fanedits of celebs/games/tv shows/etc.
