I never watch teasers for shows due to my constant fear of seeing a scene before it actually happens and it taking the impact away, so I had no idea what to prepare for with the final two episodes. So when I tell you I started SOBBING as soon as I heard the first note of “The Story” by Conan Gray, I fuckin mean if.

A fun thing I’ve learned about myself recently is that the more a show can make me cry, the more I like it. On a totally unrelated note, The Eighth Sense has recently become one of my favorite shows.

I loved many scenes in season 2 of SaB, but I think my favorite scene objectively has to be David sealing Genya into the elevator shaft. Daisy and Luke are such amazing actors, and all of the pain and emotion Daisy was able to put behind the cries for David was just incredible. She didn’t half ass it. She put her all into it and perfectly represented just how much of a fighter Genya was.

On top of my love for neurodivergent show SaB Wylan, Kit’s playing of Jesper is also so perfect. The way that he so easily accepts Wylan for who he is is amazing.

He listens to Wylan’s rants about his interests, no matter what they are, and tries to continue communication in the process. While Jesper doesn’t particularly care for the butterflies, Wylan does and he wants to do what will make Wylan happy and expresses that exactly. He also tried to compliment Wylan whenever he could.

He shows pride in him in a way Wylan has never experienced before. He calls him a genius and he means it. He proudly exclaims that Wylan is his when he thinks of throwing the bomb at the Nichevo’ya (even if it didn’t work for long). He also silently stares in wonder after Wylan plays the piano for Alby, a skill that Wylan father always looked down upon in the books.

He sees Wylan as endearing, but not in the way a lot of TV likes to express neurodivergent characters, as if they are akin to children. Wylan is, as I like to believe, autistic but they doesn’t infantilize him. He didn’t know what Kaz was going to get him into, but once he learned he decided to stick around on his own and became an important part of their crew. I also appreciate the illusion to sex scenes, it further expresses the idea that Wylan is not a child but a grown man in a serious relationship.

I love how absolutely neurodivergent show SaB Wylan is. The idea of him not being able to hold eye contact with Jesper and turning his head away to smile. Him labeling his bottles with music notes so he knew what was what. How he saw rare butterflies and immediately started spilling facts about them to himself, but wished he could show them to Jesper as well and tell him about them.

If the SoC spin-off really does happen, I truly can not wait to see more of their take on Wylan during his most iconic lines.

i feel like as soon as Dylan O’Brian said no to coming back for the Teen Wolf movie, they should have just known they should scrap it. this man literally films fucking anything. from shaking ass with cheerleaders and playing a stuck up asshole who unironically says the words “give me a huggy.” if he tells you “this sounds like ass” THEN IT PROBABLY SOUNDS LIKE ASS

Do I think Billy standing up against the Mind Flayer to save El was noble of him? Yes. Was it heartbreaking to see Max’s reaction to him dying in front of her and then having to deal with that trauma? Yes. Was it awful to see how his father treated him and his mother? Yes. Does any of this make up for everything else he did? Absolutely not. He tried to hit three kids with his car (doesn’t matter if he would have stopped last second if Max hadn’t done it herself, he still terrified 4 kids). He didn’t want Lucas around Max because he’s black (he was fine with the other three boys). He screamed in Max’s face, forced her to skateboard home in a new town, and almost broke her damn hand. He’s still an abusive racist.

I am truly so tired of het writers making queer characters. How about this, if you don’t know how to accurately portray one and just want them as a plot device, don’t fucking make them queer.

There was no need for Will to have to use his own feelings to strengthen El and Mike’s relationship. Fucking make Jonathon give Mike the damn pep talk or something. Don’t force the gay character who’s in love with his best friend to suffer through that type of shit.

There was no reason to add a canonically lesbian character to force a straight (and not to even mention toxic) relationship back together. Then to introduce her love interest (who was a side character) as already having a damn boyfriend.

And Eddie had no fucking reason to die. If you’re too scared to touch the main cast, don’t make a show centered around the idea of them dying. Eddie was a sweet character that everyone loved. The entire season centered him and how the curse was following him, just for him to die “being a hero.” The trope of coward turns hero is so overplayed and so fucking tiring. Eddie was already a badass. We didn’t need some inner monologue of all of the weak things he did, because say it together now, HE WAS A FUCKING KID.

Our community is tired of this bury your gays shit. And, to be honest, this doesn’t make me want to tune in for season 5. Because season 4 got the message across pretty clearly. “If you’re gay, you’re an outsider mistake who doesn’t deserve to be happy.” So thank you Duffer brothers for absolutely ruining the one show I thought would finally understand me. I really fucking appreciate it.
