Little TOTK rant

totk feels like an abandonment of everything they built in botw because the lack of sheikah tech and their influence of sealing Ganondorf away (bc a 10,000 year old hand could totally hold back a demon king for 10,000 years alone... I'm not buying it)

Like please PLEASE have more sheikah influence, it would not be just cool, but it would make more sense with the overall story of learning from ancestors and learning from mistakes that they had made to secure the future of Hyrule and its people from the imminent fate Ganondorf wants on the kingdom.

Totk should be more stressful than botw because of their rebuilding, and loosing their progress, because of that false security that they had defeated calamity ganon and sealed the darkness. The kingdom should be poisoned by the gloom, there is no sense of urgency in this game unlike botw where you were running around trying to remember what Link lost and how everything went down and trying to take back the divine beasts to secure the four regions safety. (Well that is how I feel in my case)

there are so many mysteries behind JUST the sheikah that haven't been answered, and nentindo just stirred up more of confusion with the creation of the Zonai.

I really want to see the influence the zonai had on the Sheikah, and when did the sheikah exist? Before or after the in prisoning war? Or after when the ancient hero was born? Why not have sheikah apprentice underneath the teaching of the Zonai to better improve the properties of ancient magic.

And Zelda suddenly having TIME POWERS, excuse me? I always thought she was the princess of light, to seal away the darkness, but oops nope she has time powers now. And her being sent back in time is a another confusing ordeal for me.

Like couldn't Sonia pulled Zelda back in time, to respond to Rauru's stone being weird in the past? And discovered the mysterious past another way? Like being a researcher underneath Mineru and eventually being discovered by Sonia and Rauru. (I would also love seeing Zelda geek out I WOULD PASS AWAY PEACEFULLY). And a game play segment with Zelda in the past OMG.

And again with Zelda's sacrifice with turning into the Light Dragon? Which I believe she should be the time dragon bc consistency. I love the fact that Zelda sacrifices herself to get back to Link. Great story telling point in my opinion, but the way it was brought to the audience was strange to me at least.

But the lack of the built up story from botw makes me feel empty when playing totk. I loved the ideas put into it, but in my opinion it was poorly done. But everyone has their own opinions so no judging coming from me if you enjoyed totk.
