THE WORD FOR 23/3
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Psalm 23:4
What do you do when you go through the dark valley?
"I will fear no evil." That's what David, who puts his faith in God says. For he knows his Lord is with him. Jesus says, "I will be with you always even to the end of ages."
Remember it's only a shadow.
Shadows are always bigger than reality. Shadows cannot hurt you. They can only scare you.
When you're afraid, don't look at the shadow but look at the Light, Jesus Christ.
Believers go through valleys just like everybody else. But there is a difference and it's a big difference: For a Christian, it is not the absence of the shadow but the presence of the Shepherd. Jesus the Good Shepherd is with you.

Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose. Philippians 2:12-13
God uses His heavenly resources to equip us to do His will. What hope and joy this brings! God Himself undertakes the task of shaping us into His servants provided we are willing to obey His instructions. The LORD will perfect that which concerns me." (Psalm 138:8)
Lord, Help me to obey You, walk me into every good work that is in Your will. I do not have what it takes to fulfill Your will for me. I often put my hope in vain places, please do in me only what You can do, in Jesus' name, Amen.

It’s not over, until Jesus says it’s over.
All the odds were against him. His daughter was dying. Jesus promised, “Don’t be afraid, just believe.” So many were the obstacles in the way of his miracle. He was in a hurry. Please let the crowds disperse, he wished, it’s an emergency! “Please hurry Jesus!”, he wanted to say. He couldn’t get to do it. And then the woman with the issue of blood touches Him. Jesus asks, “Who touched me?” Further delay. By now news arrives that his daughter is dead. Now he is desperate. He said, “just believe”, didn’t He? Finally, Jesus goes with him to his house. He sees people wailing and mourning. Jesus says “She’s only sleeping.” The people begin to mock now and Jesus throws them out and raises Jairus’ daughter back to life.
No situation is so desperate that Jesus cannot work. Disease, delays, and even death are under His control. Jesus goes with you to the place of disappointment and sorrow and meets your needs. No matter how depressing your situation may appear like Jairus, "Do not be afraid; only believe”.

Lamentations 3:22,23
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
- How great is His faithfulness.
- Here you are, the Lord has carried you and brought you thus far.
- We have so much to be thankful for.
- The same faithfulness will carry you tomorrow.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your great faithfulness towards me. I truly do have so much to be thankful for. You have been a merciful God and a faithful, loving and kind Father to me. In Your faithfulness You have carried me and in Your faithfulness You will continue to sustain me. In Jesus' name. Amen.

In Ephesians 2:1-10, Paul explains salvation. What happens when God saves: He brings us from death to life. Why does God save us: so that in the coming ages God could show us the immeasurable riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. And How does God save us: For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Grace is an outpouring of good when only wrath is deserved. Grace is Jesus saving the undeserving.
God saves us by grace through faith. It’s a gift. All you must do is receive it. Have you put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?
