okay I'm probably gonna say a lot please bare with me.

first I need to iterate how much tina and I are the same. I could make a list of similarities between us but that's for another time. she has done wonders for awkward teenage girls.

also, louise has SO much depth to get into and it is not talked about nearly enough. she is such a well written character. she has shown throughout the show multiple times how much she cares for her friends and her family and the lengths she would go for them. the movie itself does great things for louise and shows how strong she is and the ending really shows so much. overall I love louise she means so much to me I can't fully explain but that's my baby.

zeke!!! zeke is another character who is deathly misunderstood. we see how much he cares for tina and jimmy jr and how great of a friend he is. he's shown so often to be just a troublemaker or some comedic relief but he is so much more. he loves his grandma. he loves his friends. he loves his dad and stepmom. he loves boobs. he's a great guy.

one thing I really really love about this show is how consistent it is. like all shows there are inconsistencies but this show really does a good job with being consistent and making characters recurring. bob's tattoo, logan barry bush, critter, marshmallow, all of the kids interests... I could go on. I love that they bring a lot of characters back, but I would love a little more chet.

so I'm unsure how many people know about the recasting of marshmallow and jimmy pesto, but I think about it a lot so I'll share it. the reasoning for marshmallow's recasting wasn't as bad as jimmy's so I'll start there. marshmallow, a black trans woman, was originally voiced by david herman (mr. frond), a white cis man. when people started bringing up the casting, jari jones (a black trans woman!!!) became the voice of marshmallow. the reasoning for jimmy pesto's recasting was... not great. jimmy was originally voiced by jay johnston, until he participated in the capitol riots on january 6th. ...yeah. the role was taken over by eric bauza, who was not at the capitol on january 6th.

the amount of people that have shipped jessica campbell with a kraken, and said ‘this is straight out of a fanfic’ is INSANE. we all love the workplace romance trope and it’s goated honestly but only in FICTION!

id also like to clarify for writers who’ve written this trope that they’re writing fiction and the player/person they’re portraying is not the real version of them. i support the stories ! keep them coming ! However, I do not support the disrespect for women who’ve worked their ass off just to get downplayed !

i love fun and whimsy i promise but that’s no excuse for you guys to push that shit on real people unironically.
