For those of you who personally know me, know that I want a farm of dogs! 3 years ago, September 6th, my husband & I adopted a 6 week old rescue puppy. She had kennel cough and was very fragile, it was late nights up and many runs to the vet in the beginning. Now she is healthy as ever and a very important part of our lives! She genuinely fulfills us.

On Saturday I had the pleasure to vlog and take photos at the Above-Time event at Hotel Palomar Hotel Downtown San Diego.

Above-Time’s mission is to provide high quality accessories to those who enjoy styling themselves daily and living a “Well Garnished” Life.

The fashion show and event focused on their bow ties for both men and women. The bow ties consisted of high quality fabrics and unique prints.

I love the concept of bow ties becoming unisex! For women, it truly can Jazz your simple outfit or look completely polished with a collared shirt and skater skirt. Looking forward to styling an outfit with Above-Time Bow Tie.

When I was a child I was always well behaved in the month of July. Odd, I know! Especially since school was out for the summer! It was because I felt like the Big Man was watching, no no no, the other Big Man! Jolly Ole' Saint Nick, Santa Clause. I remember seeing him on almost every commercial and advertisements in the Sunday Paper. Christmas in July! It was popular culture for Santa Clause to promote sales in the month of July. (Santa mainly sun burned with a Hawaiian Printed Shirt.) I too will use the slogan "Christmas in July" for Gray's Union but I am using it to spread Holiday Cheer! When the Holidays come around, all I can think about is the joy in children's hearts. Beginning July 1st, 15% of your purchased garments will be donated to Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, CA.
