Summary:

It’s been six years since the zombie apocalypse began and Merlin’s long since lost all hope of ever seeing his king return, only doing what he can to help the little gang of survivors he found survive. He’s just fine living like that. Until one day, while he and a few of the survivors spot a peculiar looking zombie while looking for supplies. [Written for BBC Merlin Reverse Big Bang 2025]

Summary:

Detective Arthur Pendragon doesn’t believe in ghosts – until one starts following him home. A routine investigation at a druid burial site leaves him accidentally engaged to Merlin, a very annoyed, very dead activist with unfinished business. Now, Arthur has two choices: ignore the bond and ensuing bad luck, or get very comfortable being haunted by his sarcastic, spectral fiancé. (Murder investigations. Unwanted soul bonds. Questionable supernatural bureaucracy. Arthur’s having a terrible few weeks and Merlin is loving it.)
