Please remember that there is no "wrong" way to manifest.
Law of assumption. What you assume works is what will work for you.
It doesn't matter what that assumption is or why. If you think repetition will force your subconscious to believe something, then it will. If you want to affirm it and forget it, that's your business. If you want to do twenty backflips, that's your method. If you want to swim to Peru, eat a hotdog, build an airplane, and defeat a samurai in hand-to-hand combat, fucking go for it.
Yes, it can be worth it to make these assumptions "easier" and less energy taxing, but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter how you manifest as long as you're having fun and living the life you want. If you have results, any results, you are manifesting in the right way for you. That's all that matters. (And remember, the law does not stop - you are always manifesting.)
Don't listen to people who try to tell you that you need to manifest in a specific way or that you're "doing it wrong". They're either misinformed, uneducated, or a loser trying to control other people. Either way - not worth your time or attention.
All you need to know is that your assumptions shape your world. That's literally it.

I'm sick of those "this is why you can't manifest" blogs because there's only one answer for this: you can't manifest because you say so.

I manifest everything I want easily, and no, I don't affirm or live in the end. I just decide I have it, because it's true.

Manifestation Isn’t a Formula, It’s Freedom
Manifestation is not what bloggers include me saying; manifestation is what you say it is.
We say everything is possible, so why do we keep setting rules? If everything is possible, why do I have to live in imagination only? If everything is possible, that means I can manifest instantly in the 3d. And you probably will think,
“But this is not how Loa works.” And my answer is simple: the core principle of loa is that whatever you assume as true is your reality. Everything else is rules people implemented.
What I'm trying to communicate is that it's contradictory to say “you control reality” and then tell people what rules they have to follow.
There are no rules in manifesting, so don’t take what bloggers say as a must; instead, create your own rules and conditions.
