It made her heart pick up and her eyes wander around the room during painful, endless, parties and events. “Is it okay that I’m waiting for an Ayanami?” She didn’t know the answer, but she enjoyed her ignorance as it gave her an excuse to wish for their next encounter.

Io — Miembro del Cuerpo de Seguridad del planeta Venus (CSV). Líder del Escuadrón 2 del CSV. Copiloto a cargo de la nave Iridescent. Compañera de generación de Atlas, aunque sus estudios son algo diferentes ya que Io se especializó en pilotear. Es la mano derecha de Libra. Si algo las diferencia, es que Io es un poco más creativa y le gusta experimentar al pilotear. Sus ideas les han permitido hacer viajes más rápidos y probar nuevas tecnologías para mejorar el ambiente dentro de la nave. En Venus la moda es muy importante, pero ella lleva esa mentalidad hasta la nave. Siempre destaca entre el resto. Cuando se encuentra en Venus y no tienen visitas de la realeza de otros planetas, Io suele trabajar como parte de la seguridad del Palacio de Venus. • Palabras clave: creativa, risueña, amorosa y coqueta. • Edad: 30 años. Cuando tienen como compañía a miembros de la realeza, Jules está preparada para cocinar platillos de otros planetas. Guía a Themis con sus prácticas de enfermería dentro y fuera de la nave. Se han vuelto muy buenas amigas a pesar de ser muy diferentes. Es la única compañera que mostró enojo cuando Atlas les comentó que se mudaría a Júpiter. Hasta el día de hoy, no lo trata como solía hacerlo. Atlas — Miembro del Cuerpo de Seguridad del planeta Venus (CSV). Líder del Escuadrón 1 del CSV. Su objetivo principal es velar por la seguridad de la tripulación de la nave. Tiene estudios superiores en Seguridad Galáctica, así que es muy bueno con las armas y el combate cuerpo a cuerpo. Cuenta con entrenamiento de Supervivencia Espacial por parte de la realeza de Marte, Júpiter y Saturno. El último del que fue acreedor es del entrenamiento en Júpiter. Estudió y vivió en aquél planeta después de que Bienna rechazó su propuesta de matrimonio. Regresó a Venus hace apenas unos meses y volvió a incorporarse a Iridescent. Es quien deja la nave para acompañar a la realeza de otros planetas hasta la comodidad de sus palacios. Ya que solía trabajar de cerca con la princesa Pyxis, ella suele pedirle que esté a cargo de la seguridad de El Hogar Elevado cuando se encuentra en Venus. • Palabas clave: talentoso, cálido, respetuoso y romántico. • Edad: 30 años. Es el hijo mayor del Secretario de Seguridad del planeta Venus.

Libra — Miembro del Cuerpo de Seguridad del planeta Venus (CSV). Piloto a cargo de la nave Iridescent. Libra cuenta con 10 años de experiencia como piloto. Dirige los viajes con claridad y mucha naturalidad. Mantiene la calma sin importar las posibles problemáticas, lo que siempre hace sentir seguros a sus compañeros. Sin embargo, no disfruta mucho de tratar con la realeza de otros planetas, así que dentro de la nave ella se mantiene en su asiento y deja que otros sean los que hablen con ellos. Cuando se encuentran en Venus, Libra pasa la mayor parte de su tiempo laboral entrenando a futuros pilotos en la AES-V. • Palabras clave: relajada, inteligente, fiestera y equilibrada. • Edad: 33 años. Hermana mayor de Themis y de un hermano que falleció durante su infancia. Themis — Miembro del Cuerpo de Seguridad del planeta Venus (CSV). Pyxis — ¿Está lista para ser reina? No tiene idea. Para ella lo más importante es mantener a Venus como el mejor planeta para todo lo relacionado a la diversión. Está orgullosa de su buena reputación, de la excelente comunicación con su equipo de trabajo y de la amistad sincera que mantiene con otros reinos. • Palabras clave: amigable, hiperactiva, emocional y platicadora. • Edad: 27 años. Hermana mayor de 2 príncipes. Danica — Llegó a Venus con el propósito de proteger a la princesa una vez que Atlas dejó el cargo. En un inicio el planeta le parecía muy caótico y ruidoso a comparación de Júpiter, pero la vida nocturna la cautivó. Es la persona más cercana a Pyxis ya que la acompaña todos los días a donde sea que vaya. [B] You were laughing the whole time! I tried, okay? I tried falling into the fountain, but it’s not my fault they are so good at their jobs! [L] Okay, fine, I’ll help you. He pushes her into the pool. Step #3: The Slumber Party Afternoon before dinner. [L] Okay, so you guys get dinner and then you ask him to stay over for the night. [B] That’s a bit blunt even for me. [L] Okay, then say we had a fight and that you don’t want to go back home. [B] But I don’t want to lie to him. [L] You have to. [B] I don’t want to. [L] See? levi x bienna | the last straw

Things changed fast after Bienna’s takeover. The days were long and filled with extensive information about what Lorella had been doing until then. Everyone calling her by her sister’s name always brought a shiver down her spine, a whisper of “it should have been you”. Bienna felt more and more lost as the days went by, trying her best to run in what felt like an eternal race towards nothing. Her mother spent most of the time locked in her chamber, and only got out when it was necessary. Bienna wished for her guidance but only found silence and sadness.

She tried to take it all in and accept the reality. She didn't allow for any weakness or showing her sorrow. Bienna could tell that Levi was trying as well, but she spotted redness in his eyes quite a few times. She didn't blame him. It was the normal thing to do. She was the one depriving herself of any emotion.

Levi's coping mechanism was to get involved in the search for the killers. At first, it looked reasonable and necessary. But then months went by, and Bienna started to find him asleep at his desk or working all-nighters for days on end. It became clear to her that it had turned into an obsession.

Bienna decided to confront him about it, not knowing that Levi had been struggling with her lack of emotional display. For months they had only discussed work, and all the regret, pain, and resentment that had piled up exploded at once. Hurtful things were said. They screamed at each other like they never had done before. When Levi, with tears clouding his vision, finally expressed the fear he felt when he saw Lorella's body and also saw Bienna, he left the room. Alone and emotionally exhausted, Bienna finally allowed herself to cry.

bienna x levi | through the years

Queen Alanis always said to Bienna, “Even if you weren’t meant to be brother and sister, you were always meant to be friends”. The bond of friendship between both their mothers was strong enough to live through another generation. It always felt obvious for Bienna that Levi would play a big part in her life.

When she was born and Levi’s mother brought her home, he quickly understood that it was his duty to protect her and swore that he would. It was always easy for her to call him “brother”, even after learning the truth. They moved to Venus together, studied together, trained together, shared a room and understood each other.

They both were strong-willed, stubborn and curious. Bienna liked to improvise and Levi was always the man with a plan. He would always anticipate events and plan accordingly. Nobody was surprised when he started his training to be Lorella’s adviser. The day of the attack, he escaped death by mere chance, because Bienna asked him to stay in Venus one more night for her birthday. He was getting back to Mars when it happened. Both Lorella and his mother, along with their security team, were killed.

When Bienna took her sister’s place, Levi stepped in to be her adviser.

That was the first time they said something that broke his heart; for such a long time, Atlas thought they saw his love for Bienna as something that made sense, as something tangible—as more than just him “having fun.” In reality, it was as if his friends felt relieved after knowing Bienna didn’t want him; as if all of this happening meant the girls could finally relax and not worry about him, because he now knows he was being stupid for falling for someone that didn’t feel the same way, 

Months later, Atlas understood that his friends were only trying to make him feel better. Maybe they didn’t choose the best words, but that’s how Venusians are: love is so important in this planet—not only love for others, but self-love too. In this situation, his friends cared more about him than they did for Bienna. They wanted him complete, self-assure; they wanted the old Atlas, the youthful one, the one who saw love in everyone, not just in one person and one place.

It’s been a year now, and even though he has grown thanks to what happened, he still doesn’t agree with Io. Atlas can’t help but know Bienna is the only one he will ever love completely, blindly, fearlessly. If that makes him delusional in their eyes, then so be it.

It’s all starting to get blurry now. My memory plays games with me and I can’t be sure if everything was as perfect as I remember. A part of me is sure that all those years are perfectly safe inside my head. Another part wishes it would just forget; forget the good but also forget the pain. And the tiniest side of me still sits by the window looking at the stars and tries to guess which one are you on.
