It’s okay!! I really love your idea of Charlie dying some day and going to Heaven. For a Hell born demon, she has an extremely pure heart that I think is worthy of entering Heaven. I feel like her human type emotions would be based off of Lilith’s past as a living human before becoming a demon and marrying Lucifer.

Charlie is long-living. Not immortal.

This has been in my head the past night and it hurts my heart to just imagine a moment where one day she simply dies. What would become of her parents? What of her love, Vaggie if she were to somehow live long enough without being exterminated to witness Charlie’s death?

I don’t think I could write anything about it, but I’d love to toss ideas and thoughts around on such a scenario.

That would definitely be a happy thought!! I love that too!

But at the same time, I don’t think Charlie herself could ever go to Heaven. Only because both her parents are demons, even if Lilith was human once. Lilith was basically outcasted by God because she wanted to be equal with Adam and Adam didn’t want that if I remember right. Hence how Eve came into play. Lilith I think found Lucifer once he fell and fell for him. Hence the curse on Lilith having all 100 children of hers die. What if what happens to Charlie is the same as exterminations? You get exterminated and completely cease to exist.

If my Catholic history is wrong, I’d love some corrections. History in religion is a right mess.

“Surprise Hazbin Q&A”

Ok, so I listened to +5 hours live stream and oh boy, that was a lot of information. That’s why I decided to divide the list in two parts, the other part I hope to post it around the 6th of January. Btw, there were some moments where viv and the crew gave some advices about different topics and I know there is a lot of people here who want to become animators/artists/story tellers, etc so I put the exact time when viv start talking so you can hear them.

-          Do the main characters had crappy lives when they were human? That’s spoilers

-          Alastor and Angel Dust are the hardest to write for vivziepop because she doesn’t know all the details of the period of time where they come from and because they are based in some complex emotions she has had in her life. She finds this ironic because those two are part of the first characters she created and her two favorites.

-          Husk is the easiest to write because he doesn’t care about anything and he is very grumpy. So his reactions to anything are pretty much the same.

-          Vivzie likes when Hazbin helps to inspire people to create their own stories, characters and/or universes.

-          Can the demons possess a human being? Viv cant answer that yet, but she is thinking in doing a story about how the human world works in the Hazbin universe. Is not in the works, is just an idea in construction she plans to do in the future.

-          Vivzie has already planned how heaven looks like and its hierarchy.

-          Hazbin’s hell is a mix of different religions and mythologies.

-          Believe it or not, Hazbin’s hell is a punishment. It probably doesn’t look like that because there is no flames or constant torture like the typical hell but the continuous chaos of the cities and the fact that the demons can suffer a lot from that chaos is the punishment they have to stand for eternity. 

-          Charlie is the hope of hell, literally, because she is the only one who sees the good in sinners

-          “Reality is gonna hit all the characters at certain point”

-          53:35 for people interested in voice casting for future projects

-          1:08:55 info about what tools viv and the crew use for animation

-          “The way demons look like is the reflection of their souls”. That’s why every sinner has a different design because every being has a different soul. Still, vivzie wanted to draw the classic demon design of red color withd big horns, so that’s why Helluva Boss’ characters look like that.

-          The origins of the eggbois is a joke viv wants to explore in the future

-          Everything related to Charlie’s family is spoilers and cant be answer

-          Episode 2 will start the main conflict of the story. The pilot was just an introduction of the characters.

-          The idea for future episodes is to be as long as the pilot (30 min) but Viv is still figuring that out

-          Angel hates his feet and that’s why he always hide them with big boots (here is a pic of what I think are his canon feet). 

-          Demons born in hell don’t look human at all and have their own species (like Stolas and his family, who seem to be the same kind of “bird-demon” species). Sinners at the contrary are mostly different because of “their appearance reflecting their soul”

-          1:26:10 if you are interested in art school and some advice about college

-          Alastor’s mic is an extension of himself but Viv says that it can also be open to interpretation.  

-          1:45:00 advice at how to write a story

-          Most of the voice records for Hazbin was in home studios, which according to vivzie, is perfect for independed projects, especially when the cast live in different cities.

-          The voice recording for Helluva was different because vivzie got a big studio where all the actors recorded the voice audio at the same time and it was special because they got the opportunity to interact which each other.  

-          Angel’s creation was full of emotions because he helped vivzie going through a toxic relationship.  

-          Alastor is very appreciated by vivzie too because he was created while she was in middle school

-          When a sinner dies in hell they disappear out of existence, forever. But the “dark energy” sinners are made of pass to be part of the pure fabric of hell, that’s why some objects are “alive”, because those have part of that evil energy coming from exterminated sinners.

-          There is a part of hell called wonderland where there a lot of crazy creatures and is really dangerous

-          For every new content of the comic there will be a new questions to answer.

-          After Angels comic there will be another one about the daily life of alastor, but it would be shorter, about 10 pages long

-          Sir pen can hypnotize people with the eyes of his hood. He relays on his machines and minions to fight but if someone got really close to him, (he doesn’t like to be touched) he would use other abilities like hypnosis.

-          Vivzie confirmed what fans talked some time ago. Alastor doesn’t respect the personal space of others, but he ironically hates to be touched.

-          Vivzie would like to do a Hazbin’s holiday special, either a chirstmas or a hallowen special.

-          When the sinners celebrate Christmas, instead of santa, is krampus the one who they like to talk about and want him to visit their houses.

Faustisse’s Stream Notes 1/5/20

So I decided to watch Faustisse’s stream and was like 2 hours late but took a bunch of notes on Hazbin stuff!~

-Husk is good with kids -Husk thinks Niffty is annoying -Husk is 75(viv isnt sure yet but this is what she said) -Niffty is straight -Alastor finds Niffty adorable and endearing but stupid(this is the answer to my question i asked her) -Husk is Pan/Bi(another answer to one of my questions) -Chalastor has 0% chance of happening(THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN ATTACK THOSE THAT SHIP CHALASTOR) -Alastor is a aromantic asexual -Charlie is long-living not immortal -Niffty is not smart, “me see men me like” is how she opperates -“ive seen shoes smarter than niffty” “niffty is not as smart as you think she is” -Niffty is “tall enough to know whos knees are ashy”, faustisse jokes that she 1'2 -Vaggie most likely not good with kids -All demons have demon/monster forms -Demons have a different form when angels(possibly meaning redemption will happen????) -The main six will all sing at one point(yet later faustisse said she hopes Husk does not sing because of his smoker voice) -Alastor is mixed, hes creole -We will see the characters past lives in future episodes -When someone dies and goes to hell their voice changes(atleast faustisse thinks this) -Alastor is an only child and is a mamas boy -Vaggie probably died around the same age as Niffty -We will see Alastor as human -Niffty was probably also small when she was human -Niffty is not Japanese but can speak Japanese -Alastor, Charlie, and Lilth like pineapple on pizza -Niffty is hopeless in her romantic life(an answer to one of my questions)

I personally ship them but I just wanna know they are good friends.” | Alastor finds Niffty adorable and endearing but stupid. “What is Husk’s sexuality?” | Husk is Pan atleast from what she said and I quote “Any hole is a goal”. “What type of demon is Niffty? I heard she is a bug demon.” | I don’t know, I just thought she was a cyclop. “Is Niffty a hopeless romantic?” | Niffty is hopeless in her romantic life.

‘Surprise HH Q&A!’ Part 2

Hi guys, happy 2020. Sorry for posting the second part a bit late. Enjoy.

-          Sinners in hell can “level up” and that’s very related to the villains of the show

-          Viv will look if any company/channel is interested in continuing Hazbin Hotel. If nothing happens, she will look up for every option to tell the story, like a kickstarter.

-          Becoming a demon with animal form could be a shock or could be great for a sinner. For example, Angel likes his demon form because of the extra arms and other abilities but Husk, on the other hand, doesn’t get used to being a giant cat.

-          Razze and dazzle are goat/dragon demons, they are pets and bodyguards of Charlie who can take a bigger form if she is in danger.

-          3:12:05 advice if you want to be an artist just as a hobby and/or self-thought

-          A friend of vivzie recommended her some time ago to not describe how powerful alastor is and leave that as a mystery. So viv decided to be a characteristic of Al to not caring about how powerful he is. 

-          Viv decided Vaggie to be the one who tells Alastor’s story instead of the radio demon himself because she is a storyteller who takes Alastor’s existence seriously.

-          Vivzie have seen the doom guy memes and is ok with them (I think someone of the crew bought her the game as a joke, I dont remember).  

-          The perfect candidate for Lucifer’s voice actor would be “Weird Al” Yankovic but that’s just a dream of Vivziepop. There is no confirmed voice actor for Lucifer at the moment.    

-          3:33:22 What was the most challenging topic of making hazbin? AKA advise about being a good director of an animation project.  

-          Because Hazbin is an adult show, vivzie doesn’t want children in it unless is for a quick joke. For example there are cannibal children, but their participation is only a visual.

-          Sinners cannot have kinds, that’s part of the punishment. Families do not exist for sinners, they do not deserve that. Only Born in hell demons are able to have kids.

-          Niffty is 22, she is only tiny

-          There is a limbo? That’s spoilers

-          The character’s personalities are based on their goals and who they are, not in the tags society puts to them. For example, Charlie could be seen as the typical “Disney princess” but she is the daughter of Lucifer and she wants the hotel to be successful no matter what so she curses and fights if necessary as we saw in the scene with Katie killjoy.

-          There is rain and snow in hell, there is a desert zone too

-          There are places in hell that look like different periods of time. This happens because when exterminators can’t kill sinners from different eras and they manage to survive long enough, they create their own kingdoms that look similar to how was the world when they were alive (for example there is a western zone, an 10’s zone, and so on).  

-          Alastor doesn’t like modern stuff, at all. Like the internet or cellphones, he is like “meh” to them. He thinks the 20s was the best decade and the peak of entertainment. For him, nothing can beat the radio and that’s why he hates vox. He thinks television is just another modern device that will never be better than the radio.

-          Designing Angel plush was a challenge because his cartoon shape is difficult to do in 3D

-          Viv is half Salvadorian but she doesn’t know Spanish.

-          Viv would want to make the characters speak a second language in the future, because in the canon Husk can speak 5 languages, nifty Japanese and Alastor a bit of French.  

-          There is a video of the premiere in LA that we could maybe see someday

-          All the huge buildings of hell belong to Lucifer and all of them have the same thematic: as circus and carnival as possible, but the hotel thematic is now a bit changed because it has Alastor influence on it

-          When is episode 2 coming out? Vivzie and the crew are looking out the best way to produce it and that could take some time

-          Does the static dies when Alastor is being honest or genuine? Viv can’t answer that

-          Biblical characters related to Lilith like Adan and Eve are part of the story so talking about them would be a spoiler

-          Will the story explore the nine circles of hell? Hazbin takes place in only some locations of hell, not all of them, but vivzie has in mind to create more series in the same universe which means there could be a different story with different characters happening in locations that are not covered by Hazbin. (as an example, helluva boss is about the human world and the imp world, two parts that are not explored by Hazbin).

-          Vivzie has thought in creating 3 arcs for hazbin but it depends on the resources and budget the project gets. Each season would have a “satisfying ending”

-          4:59:00 advice on how to do your own show

-          Hazbin Hotel was Viv’s Plan B and she cant believe the great success it has got. Her plan A was to do a big musical Broadway’s style about Alice in Wonderland but something happened and that project got canceled.  

-          There could be new stories happening in the Hazbin universe but with “different flavors” like Helluva

-          5:25:00 how to be a good boss in your projects (a hell of a boss :v )

-          They did a giveaway of signed posters, huh…did someone here won one?

-          Viv got Maxwell Attoms because she has been in contact with him since long ago. She volunteered for a project he was making (that didn’t turn out, unfortunately) and since then they have been talking. Viv says that Maxwell is such kind and reachable person, they sometimes have lunch together.

So in the recent Hunicast, @vivziepop​ revealed Angel Dust’s real name, which is…ANTHONY!

So after geeking out with excitement, I was curious about what the name meant so I looked it up.

Apparently in some popular folk definitions of the name, Anthony means “Priceless” or “of inestimable worth”.

That made me realize, Vivz mentioned that Angel is into sex work and porn because he believes that’s all he’s ever good for.

Angel’s real name means “priceless” and “inestimable worth” and yet because of whatever he’s been through possibly with the porn work, being with Valentino, the relationship with his dad, he thinks he’s worthless!

A Note on the Toxicity Growing in the Fanbase

As a lot of you know, there is a toxic spot growing in the Hazbin Hotel fan base; one I am definitely aware of. So I figured I should speak my mind on this whole thing going on. Being a toxic person doesn’t make you cool, and it doesn’t make you a winner; in fact, it makes you the exact opposite. I have noticed some people that have left the fan base, including a few people that I know; and being the smart person that I am, I respect their decision. It’s OK to leave a fan base if you feel as if your experience in it is getting worse. Though people who have left the fan base and those who are still friends with those who have left are being called “traitors” by anons. Really? Is that really what we’re going for? I think it would be best to respect a person’s decision instead of harassing the hell out of them. Plus, this doesn’t mean that I’m going to leave the fan base; I’m staying and will do something to represent part of the good side within it, I’ve even met a lot of good and nice people in this fan base. Spread the word, being toxic is not okay. (Don’t think this post will do anything about it; but eh, at least I spoke my mind about it.)

Feeling she had said what she could then listening to her fellow non human, she nodded before turning quietly on her heel. His words twirled around her mind with each small step she took towards the graveyard. He seemed awfully cold for any demon. Not as in the type to not care at all, but more sinister. He reminded her of one specific character she had heard of around her home, but Sebastian seemed more of predator waiting to strike and in the mean time simply batting at his prey. It was crueler than any she had met and it stung her.

Charlie played with the thought of what he could possibly want from her, what he wanted her to do exactly, just as she approached the human figure sitting in on the bank of the nearby pond. Her heart ached at his melancholy. He seemed so alone. Yet, keeping a short distance to not startle him much, she crossed her arms over her chest. Taking a few more steps, she noticed he was shaken until he recognized her, though he hadn’t taken his gaze away. She wasn’t sure how to begin until he had motioned a seat beside him. What kindness. She accepted and seated herself, leaving a short space between them.

Her dark optics followed as he played with the abysmal water barely illuminated by the now cloudy sky. “What do I even say...?” Words we’re lost upon her tongue as the minutes passed. The feeling of eyes watching her stirred her. She turned her head towards him, keeping her gaze low, then speaking in a soft and gentle tone that was filled with a genuine remorse she spoke. “Um... I’m sorry to disturb you Manuel. I just wanted to come and apologize for my inconsiderate words earlier. Your colleague explained to me. I won’t bother you about it, but I just wanted to say that I’m sorry. I was thoughtless and naive. I’m not sure how you feel towards me, but I hope you can forgive me. I never meant to hurt you.” Her eyes traced back to the still water before her. With a soft sigh, she spoke in almost a whisper more towards herself. “This isn’t how I wanted my visit here to go...”

“Theatrics are to be expected of us, Charlie. All the best performances contain a little sin. Entertainment is born of surprise. And surprise is easiest to conjure with the dexterous hand of cruelty.” What sort of hellspawn yearned for kindness from her kin? She had the absolute audacity to ask; nay, suggest - (which was somehow a greater effrontery) - that he leave out the best part of his supper. The sentiment of his earlier grimace became a touch more genuine.

She looks small.

Weaker than ussss.

We cannot afford a conflict with this one.

“It would be nice.” He parroted quietly, as if considering the prospect. Sebastian grasped his chin between a thumb and forefinger, deep in thought for a moment. This was not the time for any wayward arguments. Banter he was certain the woman could handle, but it wouldn’t do to injure her sensibilities irreparably if he desired her help. “Do what you wish. You remain my guest, after all.” He waved a dismissive hand and averted his eyes, tapping absently at his lip. __________

Wide eyes fixed on Charlie as she neared. Manuel’s shoulders relaxed, now that he’d confirmed she wasn’t the other demon. Not that Sebastian would have bothered to check up on the situation — unless perhaps to taunt him, or ask for something. He ran his rough fingers through his hair in a futile attempt to tame it. Ah, he’d been staring again. Tapping the ground nearby, Manuel offered her a place beside him. Then he returned to gazing at the pond of still water, which rippled like a skin when his finger disturbed the surface. 

Charlie seemed, for want of a better word, good. For the first time in a long while, he was pleased by the company of another. Even if she wasn’t quite like him. He ceased stirring up the pool and brought his knees to his chest. What had she come for? The man’s eyes slid slowly sideways at her again, expectant.
