Guys I have literally never cared about cars once in my life but this guy started talking about his car and all of a sudden I’ve never been more passionate about it I wanted to listen to everything he had to say about his coolant and his wheel size what is this witchcraft

Nico: “my teeth are the only straight thing on my body”

Annabeth: “all my feminism goes out the window when Meghan Trainor comes on”

Leo: “you know I was licking an envelope the other day and the sticky part actually tasted really good I was just like wow”

Reyna: “I have a question. I’m not going to ask it, but I have one”

Frank: *to a bird* “excuse me sir do you have a minute to talk about your local congressman”

Will: “proper safety? That’s hot”

Hazel: “I’ve never been diagnosed with anything, but somethings definitely going on up there”

Jason: “when you die you’re going to get a participation award”

Every time a man does something misogynistic but I know that he would never understand if I explain to him why it’s misogynistic I’ve been going “on national women’s month??” and it confuses him enough that he stops doing whatever it was and I’ve really enjoyed this power

Small ways in which the demigod squad would be good friends to you:

Leo: says “I’m listening” when you’re talking in a group and no one is paying attention to you 

Nico: randomly shows up at your house with your favorite flavor of ice cream that you didn’t even know he knew because you “carried yourself differently than normal and seemed upset”

Annabeth: makes video montages of the two of you together

Piper: holds your hand when a topic is being discussed that she knows makes you uncomfortable

Jason: sends you every video he finds that he thinks you would find funny (it’s a little annoying sometimes but you appreciate it)

Percy: brings you cookies that he made because he thinks you’ll want to try them

Frank: listens to you rant for an hour and genuinely listens. He gives advice after if you want it, but knows sometimes you just need someone to hear you

Reyna: designated driver whenever you need it, no judgement or questions. 

Will: makes playlists for you, some of them based on things you listened to together, some just songs he thinks you’ll like, some songs he said made him think of you when he heard them

Hazel: watches any tv show you recommend and sends you all her thoughts to make sure you know she’s paying attention

I forgot to update on this, the game just ended and the final two had a showdown in a park to decide who won

The demigod squads’ small superpowers:

Percy: he can make up a recipe on the spot with any food he has on hand and it’ll taste amazing

Annabeth: she can put the fitted sheet on the bed with no problem every time

Hazel: she can pack anything she needs perfectly into one suitcase

Frank: he can do accents really well

Leo: he can braid hair perfectly

Piper: she can always accurately guess the measurements of the room they’re in

Jason: he always dresses for the perfect temperature he’ll be in even with no knowledge of what it will be

Reyna: she never had a problem driving or learning how to drive stick shift

Nico: he can have a whole conversation with someone without hearing a word they said

Will: he can always catch mosquitos within a couple tries

Today he went “my hands are really cold, yours are warm” and then really slowly put his fingers through mine until we were holding hands and then we held hands while we talking and when we let go he said thank you and it was so awkward and adorable I can’t

Percy doesn’t fear death. In fact, although he would never admit it out loud, he’s kind of looking forward to it. Of course, he wants to live his life, and go to college and start a family with Annabeth. But sometimes, after she’s fallen asleep, he lies awake next to her and thinks about everyone he’s going to get to see again. He thinks of Charlie and Silena and Lee, and oh gods Jason. No, he doesn’t want to die right now, but, he smiles to himself, when he does it won’t be so bad. He doesn’t fear death.

I’m in love with the fact that since the first book he was in Nico was all “no one understands me I’ll never belong anywhere” and the second he says that out loud Will’s like “what the hell are you talking about not a single person here dislikes you, you’re so dramatic for no reason”
