regardless, are you familiar w contact lenses for trolls w weird pupils? lots of em, weird shape, etc

⥭ I unfortunately dont make them myself, however i have quite a few “contacts” in the business of making them !!!

⥭ Now, for unusual pupil shapes, you have a few options !!!

⥭ Non-circular pupils often mean your cornea is shaped non-circularly as well, but not always !!!

⥭ your first step should be finding someone who can check if its shaped regularly or not

⥭ some signs that its shaped differently are astigmatism, poor eyesight, double vision, light sensitivity, and otherwise distorted eyesight !!!

⥭ these can also be caused by other issues as well, so its best to get seen by someone who knows they’re way around a trolls eyes, if you can !!!

⥭ if you cant talk to someone through normal channels, id be happy to hook u up with some underground ppl i know, but id have to do that privately /nf

⥭ So !!!

⥭ If you have a strange shaped cornea, congrats! You can probably get contacts shaped specifically to your eyes, meaning theyre less likley to shift out of place and reveal your iris around the hole for your pupil(s)

⥭ if not, you have a few options

⥭ One, which technically works either way, is getting a completely iris-colored contact the regular shape and way, with a regular pupil hole !!!

⥭ Your vision will be cut and “tunnel visioned” somewhat, but it should hide everything as needed, you can get full sclera lenses if your pupils span a large part of your eye !!!

⥭ Your other option are mesh lenses !!!

⥭ They have mesh over the pupil spot, or even completely encompassing your iris, or further if needed

⥭ Theyre harder to see out of until you get used to them, but they have the most coverage

⥭ Limited vision is unfortunately what you exchange for eye privacy

⥭ My own pupils are my blood color, however i don’t believe my irises will be coming in with my own blood color, so i opt for small half iris mesh lenses

⥭ there are surgeries to implant lenses into your eye, however these are extremely experimental and will more likely leave you blinded than hide your pupil or eyes

⥭ Youre said you were using interview based polls? Those are inherently swayed to polltakers interests, you’ll notice a wider pool of higherbloods and lower pool of lowerbloods. For example, the Castes Variations set of interviews taken by Smirke Vagben, and the multiple polls run over multiple sweep generations by renowned genealogist Balwin Braard and their team. Instead of polls run by the more “popular” and crown-funded but inherently classist groups, especially when it comes to traits you could wrongly accuse certain castes of having a tendency for, you should really be looking at things like the Grub Registry, Trial Registry, and Sign Registry.

⥭ All statistical sciences that aren’t sociological or cultural in nature should be taken through accurate representation instead of polls that leave much to be desired in accurate representation.

⥭ Having the exact birthrate of those hatched with White or semi-pale hair is very interesting, as studies on those show an almost completely equal rate between all commonly hatched blood colors, so excluding fuchsia and mutations! Limes are included as their hatches are documented, after which they’re usually culled.

⥭ Wings are actually pretty easy to hide in plain sight

⥭ for insectoid wings that fold down, sheer shawls should be a good go to !!! If you can match fabric to wing color and texture, you can just …

⥭ Layer them on

⥭ It’ll look like you just really like creepy crawlies !!!

⥭ You can just turn into a sparkly jewel of a person !!!

⥭ This tends to work better if you’re not hemo anon, as buggy membrane wings often have your blood color written all over them !!!

⥭ If you feel confident enough, or you have some quads that dont mind sharing a color, you can do a rainbow mix of colors instead

⥭ But i know not everyone’s comfortable going out like that !!!

⥭ if their wings are more feathery, this makes it sooooo much easier now that feather and fur lined coats and cloaks are coming back in style in some alternative circles !!!

⥭ Listen to some good music, shrug on a lined coat that goes down to their ankles, and because these coats are so thick, you can keep everything but the edges hollow for the wings and no one will notice the difference !!!

⥭ For mammalian or scaled wings, its a bit harder !!!

⥭ Scaled armors and chainmail isnt super popular outside of select circles, so you might turn a few heads if you wear heavy scaled coats or cloaks

⥭ It definitely depends on what they themself is comfy with !!!

⥭ End-all be-all, pocket coats are the way to go

⥭ The term was coined with someone with wings !!!

⥭ Basically, the coat has two laters, the outerside and the lining, and the lining is sewn in everywhere except on your upper back, so you can slot your wings inbetween the layers of fabric to keep them hidden !!!

⥭ It usually mimics the look of thick fabric or heavy wool !!!

⥭ If nothing else, thats a good go-to, as well as mixing and matching !!!

⥭ A feather-lined pocket coat for mamallian or scaled wings can hide any strange bumps or movements pretty well

do you have anything that's goood for climbing cave wallls in? i usuallly travel into caves a lot but i keeep wearing the same 4 outfits every day. any advice?

⥭ Usually this stuff goes under your clothes anyways (and padding isnt an excuse to forgo spelunking equipment if you have access to it !!!) but pad up !!!

⥭ Dont rely on your claws alone

⥭ Scrounge up some reinforced digging gloves, and some boots with steel toes and grips on the heel, toe, and sides !!!

⥭ Loose clothing is something to avoid !!!

⥭ If its all you have, tuck it in !!!

⥭ Tie it up !!!

⥭ Don’t let a seam catching on the rocks send you plummeting to your doom

⥭ Try staying symmetrical as possible, especially with the weight of any bags or equipment you carry !!!

⥭ Satchels are a no-go unless you’ve got one on each side, or youre belly to the wall in a tight space and need to be constantly flatter than a proper backpack would let you be !!!
