Percabeth they could never make me hate you

An important Percabeth moment that does not get talked about enough is Annabeth's reaction to Sally being pregnant.

Once they find out that Sally is pregnant Annabeth immediately reads Percy and understands that he's sad about potentially missing out on seeing his little sister grow up. Percy didn't even have to say anything. She's just in-tuned with how he could be feeling. And what does she do? She immediately tells Percy TWICE that she would understand completely if he wanted to change all of their plans for California and college in New Rome in order to stay in NYC. She tells him it's completely ok if he no longer wants to go to New Rome with her.

This is a girl who is canonically terrified of being abandoned but she prioritizes how Percy feels above her own feelings and her own trauma and gives him multiple chances to back out of plans that they had for the next steps of their lives together and gives him the space to do so without him feeling guilty about it for her sake. The fact that he assures her that he wants to stick to their plans is sweet but it's even sweeter that she gives him the out if needed.

Hi, on a reblog I saw your art school portfolio question. Honestly I think it depends on the kind art school you go to — technical, digital & design, or a general all arts school where you eventually choose your major / concentration after the first year/semester or so (depending how they do it).

I would probably say don’t put in other characters / fan art, as they aren’t looking for other people’s content but just your own. If you’re really proud of it and aiming for illustration etc then I think perhaps it would be fine, but definitely find your strongest stuff aside from fan art first. Maybe you could combine something original in a commotion along with fan art and make it more of ‘your own’ than just your style.

I hate how patriarchy has even ruined Hindu mythology so specifically to benefit the men.The casual jokes on family WhatsApp groups about how Mahabharat and Ramayan, the worst wars of all time, were fought because of a woman and how women bring ruin everywhere they go,as if they are the root cause of all suffering. Where in fact the women were LITERALLY the victims, one was publicly humiliated, the other kidnapped.The men have misinterpreted the stories so badly that it physically pains me, god went to war not because of women, they went to war FOR them.Because what happened to the women was WRONG,they weren’t to blame, the ones who wronged them were.

I also see a major polarisation in how a huge section of Hindus treat Sita and Draupadi, and it reminds me of the quote “a woman has to do everything right for her to be a victim and a man has to do everything wrong for him to be a culprit.”It breaks my heart at the number of times I’ve heard men say “well Draupadi shouldn’t have disrespected him,aise toh hona hi tha na fir”,first and foremost,that’s an inaccurate narrative promoted by wrong retellings who need to constantly find a reason to blame the victim,she did no such thing and you can find pretty much evidence for it everywhere.But even if she had, it does NOT make it okay for them to publicly disrobe her.This is one more example of the victim blaming culture that I see deep ingrained in the minds of so many of these dumbfuck Hindus who have absolutely no respect for their culture.So next time don’t go to ram mandirs and krishna mandirs if you can’t even truly understand and respect the relevance behind their existence.

I'm highly disturbed by the r*pe and m*rder which happened in RG KAR MEDICAL college... our society should be ashamed... Medical is a noble profession, but now a doctor is not safe in her own workplace... I hope people demand the strictest punishment for it rather than making this more of a political issue. I urge you to see how brutal and heinous this was. Security of doctors isn't a joke.. Medical is a great, reputed profession in India that demands your whole life, literally and figuratively. WHAT WAS HER FAULT!!??.. SHE WAS BRUTALLY KILLED!!!!! HOW TF IS A SEMINAR ROOM THAT UNSAFE!!??

Be angry. Be ashamed. Be disturbed.
