SEMI—HIATUS   NOTICE

so   i   know   a   few   days   ago   i   mentioned   not   wanting   to   do   this,      but   the   new   kingdom   hearts   trailer   dropped   recently   and   it   destroyed   my   entire   ass.      i   still   really   really   want   to   be   active   here,      i’ve   met   some   absolutely   spectacular   people   in   my   short   time   here   and   i   love   all   of   u   so   so   much   so   i’ll   do   my   best   to   pop   in   and   reply   to   threads   when   i   have   free   time   !      but   right   now   i’m   reviving   three   other   blogs   and   i   just   can’t   overwhelm   myself   with   more.

there’s   a   high   chance   i’ll   be   back   with   s8   !      but   until   then   this   blog   is   on   a   semi—hiatus,      expect   low   activity   until   further   notice   !      if   you   still   want   to   reach   me   to   talk   about   voltron   stuff   or   rp   with   me   elsewhere   my   main   focus   right   now   is   over   on   sora   at   @caelight   !

“well  by  that  logic   you can call anything a miracle.”  pidge leans back in her chair, glancing around the room. “the energy flowing through those lightbulbs? a miracle. the electrolysis providing the oxygen we’re breathing right now? a miracle. my shirt being green? a miracle. that —” a small hand reaches up to poke his cheek. “ — big ol’ zit you’ve got living on your face? definitely a miracle.”

LANCE   GIVES   AN   OVERLY---DRAMATIC   POUT   at   that,      arms   crossing   over   his   chest.      two   could   play   at   this   game.         ❛      well   at   that   point   it   becomes   situational,      right  ?      lightbulbs   could’ve   been   considered   a   miracle   when   they   were   first   invented  !      and⸻      ❜         pausing,      lance   let   out   a   frantic   yelp   as   he   sprung   back   away   from   her   touch,      hands   flying   up   to   feel   around   his   face.        ❛     a   zit   ? !      where   ? !      ❜

AFTER   A   SOLID   MINUTE   of   squishing   and   pressing   and   rubbing   his   own   cheeks   in   frantic   search   for   offending   imperfection   lance   finally   calms   down   enough   to   realize   pidge   was   just   pulling   his   leg,      letting   his   arms   flop   lifelessly   to   his   sides   and   head   loll   back   with   a   pained   groan.        ❛     okay,      remind   me   to   never   have   friendly   debates   with   you   again,      you   play   dirty.      ❜

     The last time Lance had pulled Hunk into one of his little ‘adventures’, they ended up in a flying blue cat and saving the universe. So it might be rude to say he didn’t trust Lances urge to explore and cause trouble - but he really didn’t, given their previous track record landing him in Iversons office every single time.

Yet, every single time, he found himself unable to say no. It was like Lance had some kind of mind-controlling superpower - that only worked on him.

He followed a few steps behind Lance, eyeing every nook and cranny cautiously. Last time he went on a water adventure with his friend they ended up involved with mind controlled mermaids. At least now he knows not to eat whatever gifts are offered to them.

“You and I have very different definitions of cool, Lance.” He couldn’t deny it was interesting though, letting a curious hand drift into the flowing water. “Water isn’t supposed to do that. There’s something fishy going on here, maybe we should leave and bring the others-”

❛     come   on   hunk,      we’re   paladins  !      we   can   handle   a   bit   of   adventure.      if   anything   goes   wrong⸻      which   it   won’t      ⸻we’ll   go   get   help,      okay  ?      ❜         AT   LEAST   BY   NOW   lance   knew   better   than   to   assume   he   could   1   v   1   any   creature   space   threw   at   him.      they   had   their   helmets,      and   the   planet   wasn’t   too   far   away   from   the   castle   of   lions.      lance   was   sure   they   could   contact   the   others   if   need   be.        ❛     i   don’t   mean   to   alarm   you   but   a   good   eighty   percent   of   the   things   we’ve   seen   out   here   isn’t   supposed   to   work   the   way   it   does,      a   year   ago   we   didn’t   even   think   magic   existed;      we’re   totally   fine,      i   promise.      ❜

APPARENTLY   NOT   AT   ALL   CONCERNED   for   whatever   secrets   the   planet   held   lance   continued   on   exploring,      dragging   his   best   friend   along   for   the   ride   before   his   curiousity   started   to   broaden,      ocean   blue   eyes   flickering   with   the   telltale   sign   that   an   idea   had   just   popped   into   his   head.

LANCE   HAD   BEEN   TRYING   FOR   DAYS   NOW   to   get   hunk   to   join   him   on   a   little   adventure   to   a   nearby   planet   that   had   taken   the   red   paladin’s   fancy.      just   like   old   times   he’d   said,      as   if   that   would   make   hunk   any   more   inclined   to   agree.      against   all   odds   he’d   somehow   gotten   the   other   to   accept   this   time  !      maybe   it   had   something   to   do   with   the   ever   growing   loneliness   lance   had   been   suffering   these   past   few   months,      hunk   always   was   good   at   reading   him.

❛      see,      hunk  ?      isn’t   this   place   cool  ?!      ❜         EXCITEMENT   ETCHED   STRONGLY   onto   expressive   features         (      though   perhaps   it   was   more   from   having   hunk’s   company   rather   than   the   planet   itself      )         as   he   jogged   on   ahead,      leaping   over   large   jagged   rocks   and   watching   pink   coloured   water   that   seemed   to   abide   by   its   own   laws   of   physics,      swirling   and   spiraling   however   it   pleased.         ❛      it’s   like   a   crazy   water   park  !      ❜
