Reporter: Hello, I wanted to ask... of course everyone wants to know, will Manuel Neuer come to visit you?

TM: He called me today, he called me today. He… FC Bayern had a friendly match today, I believe they played against some fans for a sponsor event. And on the way back I talked to Manuel Neuer on the phone. Harry Kane was there too, on the video call. I had just gotten up, of course, and it was already evening there. I'm not sure if he'll have time for a visit, so I told him I'd come visit him next week, I'm flying home to Germany for a quick visit before I have to get ready for the next match. (Joke aside) I'm still in very good contact. I also spoke on the phone with Serge Gnabry and Jo Kimmich. So there's still good contact with the teammates. And of course they were happy for me that things started well for the guys here. They won 6-0, so I had to follow suit today. They said, already... already the second game and still no goal, something has to happen. That's why I was all the happier that we got the winner in the end and I was able to score it.

We can add the story that Kalle, who was worried about his parents' divorce crisis, had a spark with Paul who just came back.

Maybe Franz would have objected Paul, saying he was too old and an eccentric Maoist. But when Kalle and Michel rushed into marriage, he might even have thought that Paul was better. He put forward the opposite grounds that there may be a backlash in Germany to marry the foreign captain of the opposing team, but well… Herr Beckenbauer, so what about your Johan?

And Johan would say indifferently, "It's too late" to Franz who has a headache over it. He means 'We did that, too. Your son is in love. Whatever you say it won't work. Let him make a mistake and regret it.' (This content was inspired by @yu-chi85’s fics. I'm still waiting for the next chapter...) btw he says that falling in love with Franz was the biggest mistake of his life, but he would do so even if he could turn back time. It was the worst and best, painful yet too happy mistake.

Franz's these relationships may have had a significant influence on Kalle’s later relationship — kinda polyamory. Of course, Kalle/Uli/Jupp had an unspoken agreement, but Gerd and Johan never agreed and just bit the bullet lol

I really wanted to put Litti in this family tree. He’s also a Köln legend.

I mentioned that Guid Buchwald or Karl Allgöwer would have been Klinsi's first love. In the case of the former, he explained that "we are just friends", but Lothar didn't believe it ("You mean, ex-boyfriends?"). As for the latter, that Klinsi had a crush on Karl, but of course he was rejected.

Eventually I added Jogi. Maybe Oliver Bierhoff went crazy because he knew that Klinsi didn't love him. On the other hand, Jogi Löw believed that Klinsi loved him. So he could never understand why Jürgen would act that way if he loved him, thus he'd suffer from it. The point is a little different, but neither of them will be able to accept that Klinsi likes them, goes out with them, yet doesn’t truly love either one. This was the same for Lothar, but through the repeated divorces and reunions he realized that Jürgen loves him anyway, although it is a strange love very different from the general concept.

Kaiser Franz and König Johan look really good together.. Somewhere between lovers and fwb. A mature, healthy, drama-free relationship, at least on the surface. But ofc both of them secretly would feel anxious and upset to some extent.

Johan Cruyff & Marco van Basten is one of the relationships I’m interested in. Lowkey creepy master-disciple or father-son🫣

Actually I ship Franz/Kalle. But my favorite interpretation is 'Kalle admired Franz all his life and wanted to be like him. Unrequited love.’ so I think this will be fine too. So I added "Electra Complex?"

Originally, my headcanon is that Kalle kissed(and did something more) with Paul on the spur of the moment… on the day he was rejected by Franz.

But in here I think it must have meant to rebel against father. In fact, it's quite attractive that the freaky Paul adored Kalle. I’ve claimed that their relationship would have been like a kind of courtly love.

It's natural that the best fullbacks in Germany are related by blood. That’s why Fips became Paul’s son (and why I cast Andy Brehme as Karl-Heinz Schnellinger’s son).

Everyone was against it, but Kalle pushed for the marriage with Michel. And in the end, it was a sad ending. Even if it didn't end in the worst.

After the Seville thriller, the two drifted apart, but Mats was born before they were still divorced. The reason I made him Kalle’s son is he was Bayern at first and came back (though he left soon), and that he and Kalle are(were) both stunningly good-looking. And since Mats is CB, it would be reasonable to see his father as one of the Italian defenders (I support Giuseppe Bergomi).

Kalle, who was pure and cute, became venomous through the storms of the world. And he once believed that just love would be enough but no longer believes in love.

So I cast Scholl (reasons: sparkling genius and creativity, not as big as expectations, and weird character) who we originally thought as Breitness’ son as Jupp’s son.

The time for a burning, all-consuming love has long passed. What suits Kalle/Uli/Jupp now is a more measured relationship — lukewarm and habitual, yet steady and comfortable. They can just go on living together. Of course, it wasn’t always peaceful.

At first, Lothar was just Franz’s son, like Kalle. And I thought it would be awesome if he was a child of Netzer. Midfielder position and BMG connection. I prefer Netzerath, though. Let's just say that DFB promoted the successor project in 1972…

Also I wanted Berti Vogts to be Lothar’s godfather. Since he said Berti was his childhood idol. And then we could cast Jupp as his bonus dad😊

I’ve loved Lahmsteiger, but always thought they were brothers and comrades. So it's good that the two grew up together as cousins and step-brothers..

The plot is that Toni was born in one of their break-up phases. I think his biological dad is Lothar, but it's okay if it's someone else. He was raised by Uli and Jupp. It seems that Lothar and Klinsi only give birth to children and leave the upbringing to others.😔

About neuller & kimmetzka & wusiala & pavlobig

For me, neuller is the ‘arranged-marriage-but-fell-in-love’ vibe itself. Bayern bosses must have wanted to keep the promising goalkeeper, and DFB would have supported this marriage.. But Manu and Thomas fell in love and created the golden age. (Although I couldn't draw due to lack of space, Muller's first love would have been Mario Gomez. Credit to @after-mid-nigth thank u)

After putting every headcanons, including Thomats as stepbrothers and Goretzka as Hömmels’ son, in this family tree Joshua and Leon they got married as cousins.. eh…. let’s just move on😓

The two met when they were young and played on the same team almost their entire lives, but according to Scholl, "we don't like each other" makes me think a lot..

I mean, can you treat the only person you're scared of in your life like this?

As I said, they've been together almost all their lives and have gone through all their ups and downs together.

But they're not quite as close as we'd think they would be in such a case.

Let’s consider what exactly their relationship is...

There seems to be no word for this feeling in English, as well as in general Western languages. According to the chatGPT, this concept exists across the board in the Asia, at least Northeast Asia. For example, 青梅竹马 (Chinese) / 幼馴染み (Japanese) / 소꿉친구 (Korean)

It's not just someone you know when you were young, "childhood friend", but more like a relationship between "more than a friend and less than a lover." In other words, it’s a situation where each other is natural to each other but has not yet developed into a romantic relationship. It's a different concept than unrequited love. (Of course, it's possible that in some cases one side is having a crush and the other side thinks they’re friends, but this relationship doesn't necessarily mean the unrequited love.)

I support this headcanon. They can't break up because they were never together in the first place, but people around them thinks they fight and break up and then start dating again and again.

I like a stable atmosphere that takes care of each other and supports each other unconsciously.. BUT we all know that they are not owners of that nature to imagine such a peaceful and beautiful relationship🤣

The two would have been constantly arguing with each other, and sometimes not even saying hello properly, but Scholli would have been relieved as long as Oli was in goal.

And while Mehmet was in a very complicated relationship with Lothar (who learned from the painful experience with Klinsi and would have tried to be a more caring and understanding partner, but eventually realized Scholli wasn't Klinsi. Thanks to @kiestris for this inspiration), Oli would always say to a weeping and distraught Mehmet, "If you're going to be like this, you’d rather break up with him" and be annoyed because he doesn't understand why Scholli continues that relationship, but he'd listen to his complaints and take care of Scholli when he fights with Lothar and cries drunk😔

Not sure if the two will eventually develop into romantic relationships… I like this subtle relationship itself.
