something something what if shao yuanyuan was the one that wanted to kill lu guang because he was messing with the timeline and her plan to save cheng weimin, so with the help of liu xiao, they got vein to work with them, and she was actually possessing vein in the bridon arc opening scene to kill lu guang, but accidentally killed xiaoshi, which was why "vein" looked so upset when they locked themselves in the darkroom, but syy cares a lot more about weimin so she just left.

FINISHED WATCHING LINK CLICK LIVE ACTION!!!
sO much time passed, but finally i had a break and I caught up with it, worth it every second!!
now into my rambling:
LCLA is definitely another take of what Link Click could have been (considering that the live action in a whole completely independent story to what the donghua tells), but it gives such a new light of the concepts Link Click as a whole concieves that it just so interesting!! especially when comparing to what the donghua does!!
I JUST need to recommend more people to watch it!! quite enjoyable, similar to season 1 in many ways, until its narratives drifts appart of what the donghua went for, but everything matches up, there's the plot twist, the emotional turmoil and all!!
Shiguang being gay as fck, QIAO LING SUPREMACY!! a whole arc of her, there's this hot guy who happens to have a lot of screen time at the end👀👀, and he also is part of this love triangle where cxs is the in-between each side and it's just so funny!!! many other characters so good!!
please give it a chance!!

Based on a take of mine here over this post, wanted to do a little analysis over bnha biggest ship war 'cuz why not.
Disclaimer: this is written from the point of view that any ship was confirmed canon, neither Izuocha nor bakudeku.
Just as a mere example, it is a need to stablish that Ochako, as one of the female leads of the series, was/is usually simplified as the romantic interest for the protagonist, Izuku, right?
And this is why, independently, her character revolved around her feelings for Izuku for most of the show, nothing else, while Izuku was driven by many other non-romantic motives (OFA, All might, the villains, etc).
Ochako could be considered an example of how a female character was mostly deminish to 'romantic interest', completely losing any individuality or interesting narrative thrive, UNTIL she was "paired up" with the female villian, Toga, which happen to be near the end of the series and exploded in a 'lesbian couple approval' and rising of her character.
i think, Ochako as an individual character IS interesting, and i do not deny the fact she went through an incredible arc herself as a character, but she started with the annoying stereotype of a denigrated woman (=behind the protagonist level of complexity) AND she broke free from it, but not because she was paired up with another woman, but rather her story started to drift appart from the mc romantic thingy and started to be more complex and appealing, rather enriched than simpler as it was.
It was not the fact she then turn to ""lesbian"" that made her end up being the strong female lead of the series among others, but because how her story started being realistic and not dependent over the "man" Izuku. Her story started to make sense and took in more depth that was normally explained before all of it.
A huge part of the fandom voted more over the queerbaited relationship between Izuku and other male characters, biggest example is bakudeku, because not only they were a "gay pairing", but because both characters could be independent of the other and were complex in how they evolved and change throught the show.
Katsuki had his own struggles and character arc, redention and transformation, aside from what also was the whole character growth of Izuku in the other side, both complementing and clashing to one another throught out the whole show.
I am not saying Ochako lacks any of that too objectively, but that her character was introduced and handled for most part of the beggining as a mere/simple stereotype of a woman that, so when comparing to the male leads, she was dependent over the mc, she was nothing important more than her romantic interests. While Izuku was not. never was. And Katsuki too.
This is just a take to say of why gay/lesbian relationships are more popular than straight ones: it is not the sexuality what matters here. The aspect of them being gay or straight is just almost coincidence: the whole point here is how media has portrayed/written female leads that often are/were inferior to male characters in terms of story, and how same-sex relationship allows either male and female by their own sides to 'shine' outside being forced and reduced to a romantic relationship, something more intense in female characters than male ones.
Now, i need to say that this is not a ranting over why bkdk/tgck is better than izuocha, but as a fan of bnha, i can see why most of it was derived to one side than other because, for most time (specially the beggining), Izuocha was reduced to a lame straight story, where Ochako used to lack interesting motives aside the romantic ones, where Izuku (obviously by being the mc) was not (note: notice that i say the beggining of the series, for obvious reasons there was much to still develop).
By this, I find quite intriguing and interesting how Horikoshi develop both Izuku and Ochako, actually.
I admire how Ochako kinda shut many not-Ochako-fans mouths of how powerfull and complex her story became, even aside from her whole Toga arc and all (where, btw, Toga alone was also a character heavy leaned to what was romantic, but her story was complex and thrilling from the beggining for being a villain AND not exactly narratively being paired up with noone), rising beyond what was expected from her of just be the romantic interest. I kinda wonder if that was intentional from the beggining, or if it was just the thought process of Horikoshi from using, was used to be just a background character as Ochako used to be, to rise her up past the expectations.
While, obviously, I enjoy that Izuku and Katsuki had their own personal growths...special liking of Katsuki's...i have my complex opinion over Izuku's arc (that i may or may not do a whole new post about it 'cuz i need to vent and haven't been active that much on bnha fandom for a while), but at least he ended up happy.
btw, need to clarify that this was taken with brief descriptions of what each character went through, but i understand that Ochako's arc never completely separated from Izuku, as it ended up being a conexion with Toga and all that.

I take it back. the things in the 时s in all the titles were not upside down crosses. they were clock hands. that point to nine o'clock. maybe that's what "but the clock tower bell only struck nine" is talking about.

TOTALLY. TRUE!!!
it was NEVER the fact that they were gay, but rather, how authors write those characters.
Two people can love each other WHILE also be independent of their relationship.
Many m/m relationships are driven by the coexisting of both independente individuals who happens to also complement alot their own lives by been together, THAT'S why m/m ends up being so interesting (and probably one of the reasons bl is so consumed)...
I would say that that also happens with w/w content, but i do not watch any of it, so I'm not in position to state it.
While, unfortunately, most women in media, specially years ago, were/are represented as the 'female in distress' or as a disposable romantic interest, losing every individuality they could have, so that's why hetero ships lose their interest for audiences EXCEPT in those cases (most recent example: rujinu from kpdh) were the woman in not diminished nor made to be 'pretty and hot but stupid'.
I would say that some time ago there was the peak of that stupid denigrating stereotype of women, that definitely triggered much of what we've seen lately, as a response of feminism and the rising of lgbtq+ community, and that's why nowadays is normalize the gay/lesbian tropes and all...
But my take here is....IT DOES. NOT. MATTER. the sexuality of the characters, but rather how they as characters are constructed and written throught the show.
IT DOES NOT MATTER if they end up being gay/lesbian/queer of any other kind/hetero BUT what matters in the core is that any pair should be composed by two interesting and complex individuals that may/may not end up together.
also i think this has been figured out at this point but the whole "i miss queerbaiting" convo is like... the part of queerbaiting that ruled was because the show was usually putting forward two dudes, those two dudes got to have character arcs and motivations and writing behind both of them. they could both be interesting individually. because neither of them were shunted into 'disposable romantic interest' for each other.
but if a gay couple on tv is now supposed to be there, writers can fall for the m/f trap of 'only one of these characters needs to be fleshed out, the other is just here to explicitly be the love interest and maybe die later' except now they can both be dudes. it's not that queerbaiting was inherently better it's that unfortunately people have always been bad at understanding what makes fictional romance compelling, which is 'who the fuck are these people in the first place and why should i care'
