i think some of the fic that i have on AO3 that i’m really proud of im going to post here. i just want more people to see them if they’re interested in them. plus with second year of college it’s much harder to continue to write but i want motivation to do so.

one thing people sometimes bring up in Adrian Chase x Reader fics or head canons passingly, that i think is out of character for him, is porn. and maybe i’m projecting but i think adrian would not be into porn at all. probably lowkey against it (to a certain degree). first of all if he thinks liking sex is being perverted can you imagine what he thinks of that? plus it’s one of those industries that has so much illegal activity behind the scenes. labor laws are hardly taken into account and many people are forced into it. he’d fucking hate that shit dude. and i don’t mean smutty books or even magazines, i mean pornography. like Chris brought up porn once early into their friendship and never did again because Vigilante immediately said “do you know how many people are trafficked for that?” and for the first time he actually made sense and had a compelling argument and it freaked him out (think the scene in prison)

i’m currently writing x reader and im very excited about it. but i do want to give a warning: my target audience is me, so reader is lowkey me. i hope that by doing the logical thing most of the time and not breaking down at everything will feel like something others can relate too? idk. at the very least im interesting. so i’ve been told. i’m not that self obsessed. you can always pretend reader said something slightly different, i do that allll the time but i also know, from how people discrive me, that i am “unique” which is a nice way of saying fucking weird. so we’ll see how it goes. stay tuned.

he would absolutely love it. completely clueless about goth culture, still dropping clumsy D&D references because he’s convinced that must be her thing.

the very first question he asks: “what’s your favorite color? mine’s teal.” later, once they’re together, she slips on teal socks inside her new rocks shoes, just for him.

“i’m dark too, i like spiders and crows,” he insists, face lighting up whenever she calls him good boy.

he’d sit still, grinning ear to ear, while she drags the most extravagant eyeliner across his eyes: “how do i look?”

she offers him dr. martens or solovairs because she cannot with his dad sneakers. he wears them nonstop—because she told him they needed breaking in.

I could go on and on but it’s the perfect golden-retriever-and-black-cat dynamic.

I think we’re looking at the situation where so many people see Vigilante as autistic even though he was made to have ASPD all wrong. rather then getting mad at either community for “stealing representation” or whatever, how about we talk about the fact that both disorders are so misunderstood (in general but especially in the media) that there are countless characters in movies, books, and TV who were intended be Antisocial who were, somehow, instead, portrayed heavily autistic coded to the point where it was better autistic representation then purposeful ones.

i’m a diagnosed autistic whose been called a “psychopath” as an insult, NTs don’t care about the differences. So instead of attacking eachother can we maybe examine why we’re practically interchangeable to the media?? Seeing the Peacemaker starting to have a discourse about it made me realize just how often this occurs.

in light of episode two of Peacemaker season two and all the speculation around adrian’s sexuality i want to throw out my headcanon. and that is no label whatsoever. so much of what he says can be used as evidence for so many different identities that lowkey i feel like just one would be too restricting for him. and i don’t think he cares to define it. he wants to bond with his bestie, he also wants to be involved with the hotties, he also isn’t a perv who’s driven by sex, he also fucking kills people for graffiti. hes horny for law and order and enjoys a good lie.

this is what i think would happen if you asked him “are you straight/gay/bi/asexual/allosexual/etc” he’d regard you like you’ve made a mistake and say “oh, no, I’m Adrian 😀”

fuck it, i’ve been too afraid to say anything but no one irl really knows about my blog so it’s unlikely this can be traced to me. I went to school with Ariana greenblat and she was incredibly homophobic twords me. there were only four of us girls in a class and in creative writing she would write stories about the three girls going to halloween horror nights and, because she was told she had to include me, i was the monster who terrorized them. it started because i didn’t know who she was already so i didn’t worship the ground she walked on. it got worse and worse. there’s a good amount of things she said that i’ve blocked out but the stuff i remember is not good. it took me years to recover and come out again.

i love star wars and ahsoka is my favorite character (who is lesbian coded) but it’s so hard to watch that show with her playing the younger version of a lesbian icon.
