it’s okay to be bad at things you enjoy.

it’s okay to draw even if it doesn’t look how you imagined. it’s okay to paint even if it ends up messy. it’s okay if you can’t memorize formulas or do mental math. it’s okay if you can’t describe a scene perfectly with words; or if you can never get your tone just right on stage.

You can do things just to do them and because you enjoy them. You don’t need to be the best ar something to love it. You enjoying it is enough reason to keep doing it. It’s okay

I'm making a Ravio game now that I've learned a tiny bit!!!!

I still mostly just have a test level at this point where I'm figuring out how to code different mechanics as well as work on some of the art elements, most of which are not final.

The sprite is mostly final unless I tweak things, but the tile map and pretty much everything else most definitely isn't. I've just been working on one of two things each day so its been slow but fun progress.

The background still looks awful but I was going for Lorule's skyline and it's a placeholder but definitely too intense and unfinished rn. Eventually there will be 3 separate layers to it that will move independently to give the game hopefully some more depth.

Also not shown, I do have a pause menu implemented with an options menu that I want to add several settings to just so I can practice them for the future. The most important of which is just a volume control and a toggle for windowed mode unless I just upload to be played in browser. I've also been asking since the colors are primarily green, if the platforms are hard to see for colorblind people? So far the answer is that they're good, but if anyone would like to let me know if you can't see it that would be very helpful <3

I'm also attempting to make puzzles!! The pushable box is the start of that, but I am.....lackluster at puzzles so I'm taking any ideas people have!!
